I bought NBA Live 18 last weekend because it was on sale! Couldn’t wait to try out the face scanner on my iPhone X. I had a bad experience using the face scanner on my PS4 camera for 2K16 before so I was wondering if this is better. Couldn’t even get my camera to show up so it can start the scanning. I read that this app has be down for a long time. EA HELP!!

This is a companion app in the same way that a pet rock is a pet. It says it’s a pet, but it’s ugly, does nothing, and leaves wondering why you spent any time with it.

So, I don’t know what it is, but I can’t use the app. I’ll go through everything, and all it’ll show is a red screen. So I can’t scan my face, nor move forward with the app.
Camera doesn’t load

Seems to be a common problem with the app. I’ve signed in and went through each slide and when it gets to the point where you are supposed to line up your face in the circle the camera does not turn on. I’ve tried methods mentioned in other reviews (log in/out, restart app etc.) I even tried manually going in settings and turning the camera on and off with no luck. I hope EA fixes this soon otherwise the app is a waste of time and space. I’m currently using an iPhone 8+
