Trying to invite family members and won’t work

So we downloaded this app that connects to our garage door opener. It works well however when we try to invite anyone it says error on their end, but on our end it says they are active. We have called the company and they can’t figure out why it’s not connecting. There has to be a glitch somewhere on this app.

Majority of the time the app doesn’t keep up with actual garage opening and closing. I constantly have to close the app and reopen it, otherwise it does not refresh. Very unreliable.

Continuous Circle (freezes)

Upon opening the app 3 out of 4 times the app will “freeze” meaning it just shows the circle continuing to circle which doesn’t allow me to open or close the garage door. I’ve tried turning off WiFi to my phone. It doesn’t help. The only thing I can do is force close the app, wait a minute and then open it again. Then usually I’ll be able to open or close. It’s frustrating trying to leave the house and I have to wait in the driveway for several minutes before I can get the app to work. Or when I’m trying to get home and park in the garage I’ll have to wait several minutes to be able to pull in the garage. I have strong WiFi connection to the unit and WiFi extenders. It’s just not a very reliable app unfortunately and the result is many minutes of waiting, closing the app, reopening the app to get it to work. Please fix this continuous circle cycle that freezes control of the garage door opener!! It makes me want to just get the clicker back at and use it exclusively. Although those make home access less secure. Please fix! They also say you can open and close your garage door with the Google Assistant. This is false. While you can ask google if your door is open or closed, you cannot actually open or close it with the google assistant. So MyQ advertises this feature when paired with google assistant but it is 100% false and should be removed or reworded on their app to tell you the truth about how it is limited in how it can function with the google assistant. I’m moving soon and the new build will not have a chamberlain or liftmaster opener due to all of these problems.

The only thing I can say is I wished I would have done this along time ago. It’s so quiet and I love that. When I come in nobody hears me. It’s a sweet unit I will say that
