Notifications Never Go Away

There are no alerts or unread notifications in the app but app still shows notification on Home Screen.

No HealthKit Integration

After all this time, it STILL does not offer HealthKit integration. Waste. At this point, it is just a data collection machine for ResMed and an additional revenue stream for them. The app does need user experience work as well though I’ll give it credit for slowly coming along in that area.

The app has bugs. It requires re-entering the model and device number each time I open the app, regardless of whether or not I am logged in. Most frustrating app ever and total waste of time trying to figure it out.

I wouldn’t have this app if I didn’t feel like I needed it to track my cpap usage metrics. I’ve had a “new” notification bubble for weeks that I can’t get rid, but there are no new notifications and even uninstalling and reinstalling the app didn’t make it go away.

Notification and Apple Health fail

New update = notification that doesn’t go away and doesn’t leave anything to tend to. For such an important app, I am now only left to turn all Notifications from my ResMed app OFF. I would imagine that this could be a bad thing when dealing with a medical device. Speaking of medical device… Why is it that such a large company with such an important medical device is NOT compatible with the Apple Health app?!? This makes absolutely NO sense at all! If MyAir engineers are unable to figure out how to make it compatible, I think I would find new engineers. It’s not rocket science. If it has to do with some other reason, I would think it would behoove MyAir/ResMed to respond to the incredible amount of people who are wanting this compatibility. If nothing else, make a mention of it in your next update…even if it’s just your reasoning for not offering that service.

On positives, it is good that it is touch screen and that you can utilize different masks with it. Cleaning it is pretty easy. On negatives: A score is ranked higher with more sleep but not everyone sleeps 7 hours naturally on any night. I had to force myself to do so to get the almost 7 hours that one night to get the perfect score on its age hours. When the mask do not fit properly, it may still say “good mask seal.” The “1” notification stays on always for the app on the phone; this is annoying. Overall, it is a good machine but it’s apps connection and function could be improved greatly.
