Just not enough

If all I wanted was to lock my door and either cool or heat my vehicle, the app would be great. However, if I don't have my key and need to unlock my vehicle, it's a 20 minute wait for a rep, then you have to verify your info and know the last 6 of your vin. Not to mention the annoying fact that the car CANNOT be started remotely. So I paid all this money and downloaded an app to condition and lock my vehicle. Other car makers offer so much more. Smh
Has ceased to work for maps

I have had my car for about a year and a half, and suddenly the maps app cannot find even the simplest of addresses. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling, to no avail. Cannot locate my car anymore either.

The app tells me that I do not have a vehicle registered but when I go to the connected drive website there it is. I don't see what's so hard about making an app that works like other car companies but this app has been useless for almost as long as it's been on the App Store.

Is your pre-2014 vehicle's BMW Assist going to work after 2016??? No! Where is the retrofit BMW?? Did BMW hire the same "rogue software engineers" from VW to make this terrible software? Latest update isn't even iPhone 6 optimized, selecting Apple maps does not display Apple maps just offers its directions, doesn't have a lot of good integration with other apps.

I think people are not taking the time once it's set up to get used to how it works. Once everything is set up with the dealer correctly it works great! Remote start would be nice.
