App has limited functionality and is nowhere near the functions that average mid priced American cars can offer!! Unlock doesn't work, remote start doesn't work! Come on!! BMW- someone in management needs to read these reviews and take action!!! Hire an engineer or developer from Tesla and make an app that actually works to unlock and remote start your car!! Please!!

This has been a very disappointing app that is no non-functional with latest "upgrade". It is bricked after unlocking.

Why have an unlock button if I have to call in with my VIN#. If I can lock my car with my fingerprint I should be able to unlock it with my fingerprint. If that's not an option remove the button all together.

*****As of 3/10/16 I have to report that the app appears to be working as it should. I was finally able to locate my vehicle on the map, and the ventilation and locking features seem to be working properly.******* This app is a huge disappointment considering it came from a major car manufacturer. A luxury manufacturer, nonetheless. Anyway, the concept is great. It's awesome to be able to locate your car, and activate the climate control remotely. In fact, it's almost a requirement for a new car in 2016. Well, in the week I've had my 328, I got the climate to function exactly once. The map has yet to ever locate the car, and I constantly get an error message saying that these services are disabled. However, in my car, and on the BMW site, it specifically shows my subscription active until 2019. The app itself probably isn't the only issue, but it is about 99% useless. I understand this app requires an Internet connection to the car. So, if it is a connectivity issue, then please say so. Don't give me a random error saying the remote services are deactivated, when I know for a fact they are not. Even after the 5.0 update, the app functions maybe 20 percent of the time. All of the previous issues are still there. The remote services still say they are deactivated, even though in the car, and on the BMW website they show as active until 2019. I really love the car, but this app is still more frustrating than it's worth.

Since last update in March '16 it's became not working properly. On app screen it says loading and not moving forward even after restarting phone multiple times. Even before this issue this app was very slow and sometimes unable to locate car location Really big time disappointed for a brand like BMW car app. Needs lots of improvement !!!

Should be able to start car and set climate from Apps, especially Apple Watch apps. Also need a find my car feature that would give you directions to your car.

This app can only do two things. Lock the vehicle and send directions. Vehicle finder doesn't work beyond 0.6 miles (why can't a logged in user find his car remotely!?). Vehicle unlock requires you to call the service center. It takes nearly 3-4 mins to push the lock vehicle command
