I love this little app - it’s not something I use every day, but now that I’m working from home I keep a guitar next to me and love it for jotting down quick ideas. Would love to see Apple keep this updated and improve some of the beat detection (and squash some of the bugs). As the A-series chips have improved, would love to see what else could be done for additional accompaniment.

I’ve been using it for years to capture song ideas and send them to other writers. The drum assistance is pretty good with generally allowing only to tempos. But the bass addition is completely horrible. It never follows the cords of the song and is completely unusable. Overall, not bad for idea captures.

Please fix the low input bug!

This used to be a 5 star app for quick, great sounding demos, but now its nearly unusable. Whenever I try to record anything, I get a message that says that it was too quiet. I can barely hear what I record and usually the drums and bass don’t match because the input is so low. Really disappointing because I used to use this a ton. I hope you guys plan to update this or add something similar into GarageBand! That auto drummer is great when it works. Thanks.

I love this app and I’ve used it for the past few years. Recently though I’ve noticed that my saved recordings are “updating” when I try to view or listen to them. They have apparently been updating for the past three weeks and I cannot see or hear them. Any advice?

Keep This App Alive & Functional!

I wish Apple would work hard and efficient with this app as they do with GarageBand & Logic because it’s a great app, great concept for us music or artist but it needs to be updated and those bugs need to be brushed off. The app closes too often and freezes at moments! I love you Apple, I love the products and even your apps but can we not forget even the smallest apps please? Thank you I will update this to a 5 star when I see improvement. And trust me. I don’t forget.

It served my purpose really well but only works for one page of tunes. I practice at home to learn to accompany playing with my percussion. Can you suggest another app that will record more? LikeMusic Memos? Thanks MA.

Great Concept, Buggy Implémentation

The title pretty much sums up the experience. I love the idea of pressing a button and having the app figure out the time and key, but there are too many bugs. If I delete a recording then start a new one, it keeps replaying the old recording. There are other bugs as well, I wish there was more developer support for this great idea.

I can’t get to my recordings on my iPad Pro because the a blank space slides up from the bottom when the app loads and it moves my drawer icon beyond the top of the screen. What am I supposed to do, wait for them to save to iCloud so I can listen to them on my iPhone, which sounds like a tin can compared to the iPad Pro?

Bugs have always been bad, but it’s now unusable

So much promise, but the app has always taken forever to load or play back audio. It crashes often and sometimes deletes recordings. But now it doesn’t even load anymore.
