Freewallet and Minergate are horrible

Was just trying to send rest of Monero to a more trustworthy wallet and exchange that was earned from using Minergate (horrible mining software) also. Still haven’t received, locked out of account magically even though password did not change. Can’t access account, transfer never finished and still have a bunch of crappy Minergate coins there like BCN and XDN that can’t transfer because of super high fees on these worthless coin. Avoid freewallet and Minergate. Apple please remove this app from the store which is a scam with fake 5 star reviews.

I've had this wallet for about six months now. After using ShapeShift to buy some monero during that period, I hadn't checked the wallet for a few weeks. I had about 29 XMR, and now only have .3 ... it's a scam. Freewallet is a scam. Beware, don't use their apps!!

Be prepared to wait at least 1 hour if you top up with Bitcoin trying to add to your monero wallet. Better to use ShapeShift.

The wallet is great for newcomers and easy to use. The only downside is the unbelievable fees to purchase through the app. You pay roughly twice as much the currency is currently worth. You are better off buying bitcoin and converting to monero using ShapeShift or coinvert.
