A user's wallet account keys are derived from the wallet's seed and Freewallet withholds the seed from the user. Thus the account owner cannot recover funds without using Freewallet's app so if the developer abandons the project or absconds with the users' keys then no more funds. I opened Monero, Lisk and Bitcoin Cash wallets with Freewallet.org All three wallets are working very well. But they need to be accessed by either email or your mobile number. Accidentally I have two Monero wallets now, one with my email id, the other with my mobile number. The support team was very helpful in resolving it, they asked me if I had more than one profile for Monero. That’s when I suspected I had two wallets in Monero. Since I’m in USA, the support team appears to be outside USA, there’s a time lag, about a day to respond from the support group. But they will answer your questions. The way I use these wallets: 1) I buy my Bitcoin in Coinbase 2) I transfer the Bitcoin to one of these Freewallets. 3) Freewallet actually converts my Bitcoin to the coin of your choice, depending on which wallet you transfer it to. 4) I found that this is the only way I could buy Monero or Lisk easily.

I agree with rGiskard. I had stuck transaction marked as “Processing”, which never arrived in my wallet. After contacting customer support, the transaction was mysteriously marked as Completed. 2.41 Monero lost. No private keys, no information about how to export them. It does seem like you can only loose money with this app!

I have used this to receive and send with no real issues. I had one transaction get stuck at 70 percent for and few hours. Support got back to me and fixed it within minutes. Never had any other issues. All transactions have been speedy.

Reviving is fine and working like a charm. It’s when I want to send from the Monero wallet that it won’t let me advance. I enter the address either by the QR or by hand and I can’t get the next bottom to activate like I’ve left out some information or something. Love some help. Thanks

***Update : after 5days, my monero was credited! ** Update: I thank you for the freewallet support. My monero hasn’t deposited to my bittrex yet and I found it was my oversight and bittrex will solve the problem hopefully. Freewallet support team (iphone in-app, reddit and they even monitor customers’ review on apple app store) is the best I’ve experienced in crypto world so far. Very prompt and helpful. I am very impressed! Thank you so much!!! Original message : Sent out my Monero from the wallet about 40mins ago, took about 10mins to complete it. Also hasn’t showed up in my exchange yet. Their transaction fees are high. Was charged .03 XMR (basically $20 out of $25 went to the wallet I intended it to go to). However, the other reviews here claim they cannot send Monero. You actually can, but you have to include both the base address AND the payment Id. This app does a lousy job simplifying/explaining that to you. More lousy points go to not granting access to our wallet keys. This app is borderline scam. Beware of other cryptocurrency wallets by the same developer. I’ve used their Dash and their Doge wallets. So a total of 3 wallets had currency sent to; those same 3 moved currency out of. All in all: 6 separate transaction fees. I want compensation for those fees. There’s a reason the word scam is being tossed by anybody that touches this.
