So helpful!

This has been a useful way of tracking and reducing my screen time

Worked for one day

This paid version worked fine on day 1, but on the second day I had it installed, it started timing from the first second I picked up my device and never stopped! With barely 30 minutes of screen time, it shows I have nearly three hours. Total waste of money.

Lifesaver

This app is a lifesaver! I love the way the app coaches me to put my phone down more to make for a better life. Also, the way the app is presented makes it feel like you have an actual friend (Kevin, the developer) coaching you. It feels like I can hear his voice coming through the app as he shares his personal stories about his phone usage, which motivates me even more. I can’t thank Kevin enough for his hard work in building this lifesaver. I highly recommend you download it to see your life dramatically get better/happier. ?

Great app!

Amazing app

After reading and hearing about Moment, I finally decided to download it and quickly upgraded to premium. It’s the perfect tool to help me achieve my New Year’s resolution of reading more and being on social media less. However, it seems to not work well with the specific app tracking due to my battery screenshots. Maybe this is due to the discrepancy between the Momentum-suggested 7 day and the 4 day in tracking that’s available on the iPhone. Not sure if this is something that has recently changed but it’s frustrating that it’s not working as a whole.

Not helpful for me

I had high hopes for this app and thought it would provide useful information about my phone use; however, it seems to grossly over estimate how much I’m actually using my phone. To be fair, I did not pay for the premium features, but after using for several days it seems to be tracking use when I’m not even looking at my phone. For example, I’m a teacher so when I’m at work my phone pretty much lives in my bag, yet somehow I was on my phone for 5 hours? Not possible. Also, I took screen shots and it never told me my most used apps..maybe I needed to upgrade for this. I know that I use my phone for many practical tasks, and I am not a big social media user. Since it wasn’t providing me with useful data and didn’t seem accurate I deleted.

It’s okay

I use the app just to track how much screen time I am using each day. I set the limit at 3 hours 30 minutes, but if I get close to that, I just up the limit, so it doesn’t really reduce the amount of time I spend on my phone, just tracks it. Also I don’t like that there is no tech support. It keeps telling me I’m doing my screenshot incorrectly and there’s no way for me to tell it that my phone is not giving me the option it wants me to use, so that’s a little frustrating. But overall I would say it has reduced my screen time just by me being aware of it.

My favorite app

I love this app. Skip the free and pay for the real thing. I've cut my phone usage down over an hour and half. I love the reminders and the daily stats.

Has potential

If it worked as it says it could be very useful. That is it can keep tabs on how often you use the phone most of the time, occasionally it thinks the app you last used and stopped using it thinks you have been using for the last five hours! The thing of app detection via battery usage does not work that well. I take screenshots as instructed but the app says do it again because it says not time is showing when in fact time is showing? Also there’s no support for the app so I’m assuming it will be gone soon. I should also say I have the paid version. The app detection is not working after multiple attempts it’s worked a couple of times but not worked for the other 100. I’m assuming the app uses OCR, I have an iPhone SE I like a small phone, I’m thinking that maybe because the SE has a small screen and the information is on sometimes 3 lines it gets confused?

Premium would be great, if it worked

Many of the features I was looking for are in the Premium version. However, I only get an error message when I try to purchase Premium (even after reinstalling the app and checking to make sure I could buy things in other apps). I contacted the email address given in the app, but I haven't heard anything back.
