Requires to to always be sharing location

Kspencera

I don’t allow any app to always track my location. And this don’t give you no option. Sorry.

Don't bother upgrading

DaffodElle

I was all excited about this app, especially once I saw that I could exclude apps by purchasing the premium version. So, I bought it on a whim. Then, I find out that it doesn't exclude them from the daily tracker. Ummmm.... that would have been nice to know BEFORE I gave you my money. I don't want to track music or audiobook time, as I don't want to discourage myself from using those apps. Not helpful.

Disappointing

Hman5912

I love the idea of this app, but the execution is poor. Many of the other apps I’ve tried are tied to a VPN, so it’s easy for my kids to get around them. I like the fact that this app, at least theoretically tracks screen usage not just Internet usage. The problem is that I really don’t trust the numbers it generates. And apparently the “lock“ that it puts on my sons iPad so that he can’t change the settings doesn’t really work. This morning I looked at his time allotment and it was one hour and 30 minutes. I checked late in the afternoon and it showed that his time allotment was 23 hours and 59 minutes. I did not change it, so either he did, or some gremlin in the app did. Either way it’s bad news. I also find it a little annoying that the developer doesn’t really provide any sort of support. I wholeheartedly agree with one of the other reviewers who said that Apple should buy this app, and integrate it into the next version of IOS.

It worked fine until I paid for premium

Acarolnc

I’ve had this app installed for a number of months and didn’t have any issues until I paid for premium. Yesterday (night before work week) I went to sleep around 12:15am and the app somehow kept accounting for usage when there was none. I woke up startled at 3AM to the app loud alarm/ notification stating that I had used my daily limit (2h45m). I was half asleep and ended up silencing my phone instead of shutting the app down. At 5:30am the alarm was going off while silenced and screen was still on. So not only the app kept track wrongly, but it drained my battery in the meantime. Its 8:30am and my daily usage is up to 5:15 hrs, which I apparently did in my sleep. Disappointing app. I’m afraid of turning it on again since I have trouble sleeping.

Useless

WildernessBarbie

It doesn’t keep an accurate account of time spent on my phone, it won’t stop with notifications while using a navigation or podcast app. Eats my battery life like crazy. Waste.

Location

Cluck

I would like to use this app, but I do not like that it forces me to use my location. There is no reason that it needs to know my location to track how often I use my phone. Suspicious???

Sort of works

Khoreia

Mostly doesn’t work the way it says it does or should. It doesn’t lock the phone for the screen free time - it just keeps sending irritating banner notifications and sounds. Doesn’t seem to track properly unless you leave it running constantly. Sometimes if it’s left running it disappears but still runs? But when it is actually opened and closed, it sends another notification that the app was quit. Have to take screen shots every day to feed it information. A few days ago it told me I was on my phone for over 10 hours but I’d barely been on an hour and a half that day doing online class work on an app. I paid $4 for the full version and to support creator but honestly I’m deleting it now. I hope others find more use for it and they can make significant improvements for the users.

Overview is useful, details not accurate

Krokmaszter

The overview of screen time per day is very useful and helps me use my phone less and focus more on being present. The app breakdown based on the battery screenshots I have found to not be very accurate.

Wrong activity time

Nadiaun

Wrong activity time. Numbers dont add up. You also have to take screenshot of battery usage which is annoying! I am trying to use my phone less, you guys, and this everyday reminder to take screenshot only takes time away. Disappointed

App requires Location Access

Jump Keys

The reason I won’t be using this app any longer is that it requires access to my location. I want something that monitors my app usage without requiring location access. This is unnecessary and a privacy concern.
