App has stopped working

The app has stopped working since the last update!! Please fix and update. As of 9/24/20 I still can not book a room thru the app. It’s been a month since it last worked. Just goes in to limbo when a hotel is chosen.

MGM is by far the leader in the Las Vegas metro gaming and hospitality industry. When accessing MGM Resorts International via a desktop computer, the customer can view all pending and current bookings; whereas, the MGM mobile phone app. is limited to only giving the customer an upcoming reservation. What I would like to respectfully request from the engineers. - Show all MGM International customer Bookings/Reservations in app. - Show all customer reservations for entertainment, dinning and shows in the app. - Create a user friendly portal; whereby, the customer can in real time check seating, open times for reservations and cancel reservations if needed. - Have a virtual Arena/Theater seating view for the customer when deciding which seat/s to buy at a show. - Make the app. accessible for tipping staff for their hard work via a QR Code; whereby, the customer could place a determined tip amount in the app. linked to their credit/debit card, and the staff member can scan QR Code via their cell phone.

Makes you re-login every time you click on something new. Routinely get errors. As good as MGM is, their app is equally terrible.


Pretty much worthless

Spent 20 minutes trying to check in for my Las Vegas hotel, logging in multiple times, sent from the app to other web sites, asked to provide way too much personal information, and then, after a couple of attempts, told they couldn’t verify my ID and to check in at the hotel. So much for contactless check in!


Great on Hotel, Lacking on Casino amenities

It’s a great app for Hotel users to check in at hotel and see and book restaurants and shows. The hotel amenities are easily viewed. I would give it a 5 as a hotel app. However, I gave it a 4 because I would like to see them develop the casino part of the app by letting the user search for specific slot machines by type and denomination. Maybe even show daily jackpots won. After all, Vegas is about gambling and so much more excitement could be in the app.

The APP is often down and doesn’t allow rates and hotel checkin since February. It has been down the last 3 days again.

My wife and I love staying at the MGM Grand and use the app a lot before deciding when we will be booking our next trip but once we enter the casino we use the concierge who always seems to help us with whatever we are doing and somehow always manages to get us a better price last year we had a small family reunion over Thanksgiving and decided to do this every year. We have already booked our room and one for our daughter and her husband. Our other daughter has already booked and more will be coming. Covid19 has disrupted a lot of things especially shows but you can still have a great time. We were there in September and really enjoyed ourselves.We are always treated well and never brushed off. The MLife program is great the app keeps you updated on where you stand and we will make platinum this Thanksgiving. The restaurants are outstanding from the Craft Steakhouse expensive but oh so worth it to Wolfgang Pucks moderately priced and very good. All MGM properties have a good selection of slots and table games. MGM really does make you feel like family.

Filled with glitches and is unusable more often than not. It’s a shame that something as simple as booking a room on this app doesn’t seem to work for a hospitality company this should be job #1

Out of all my stays in Vegas for the past 19 years this hotel for far has been my best experience in all the aspects when I say all is all from the rooms, food, housekeeping, restaurants, pool, managers, cocktails, people cleaning out in the floor has been the best service ever. Thank you all for your hats work and amazing customer service.
