Everytime I've tried to use this app I get a "We're sorry service down. Please try again later." Except to Metlife later means never and which makes this app useless.


This thing needs an update

I’m so incredibly frustrated with this thing! I’ve had Met Life since the beginning of the year because my company switched from Colonial Life. I wish I would have stayed with colonial. All I get is the run around. No one knows what’s going on. It’s not like it’s for free. This app does not help either

I have tried to make a payment and it keeps saying it’s having technical difficulties. Does this thing work at all??? If not, someone needs to get it up and running!!


No purpose for Home & Auto

My type of policy (Auto & Home Grand Protect) is apparently “not eligible to be viewed” on the app...I guess there’s no purpose. I have a hard time believing State Farm or Allstate would allow such a poorly functioning app.

I used to work for another P&C company in their web development area (analysis) and know what “user experience” means. This app is, plainly stated, pathetic. When attempting to confirms he dates of my policy, the date selector is white font on a white background. Once I get the correct date with a great deal of trial and error, I get an error stating that they are experiencing technical difficulties as they have been for literally the entire month of October. I have grave concerns of claims handling knowing the obvious lack of leadership, initiative, and basic care as it relates to their digital policy management. I mean, how much faith can I have in MetLife knowing they have -seemingly - a gaggle of prepubescent nerds knocking out code in between their Fortnite gaming sessions.


Deleted it five minutes after installing

Utterly useless app. The only thing I can do with the app is to dismiss the warning that my account is not eligible to pay using the app, (even on the my account tab where you can’t even post your bill) and look at my policy. Isn’t even pull up a proof of insurance card like with other insurance company apps.
