More limited than you’d expect

All you can can edit is the date and location. I want to be able to add KEYWORDS to my photos for ease of searching my library.

As much as I wanted to like this otherwise well designed app, it simply does not work. Date change takes two or three attempts and batch date change of photos NEVER worked. Requesting a refund from Apple.
You can’t edit specific parts of data

I paid to be able to edit out the camera type. You can’t do that even when you pay. You can erase location by itself but after that it’s all or nothing.

I have noticed that it doesn’t always change the photos/videos GPS data to where you set it. I can do a batch process of a bunch of photos or videos and sometimes it will put them all over the place. This app doesn’t work and I won’t trust it until they say it’s fixed. Now I have to go back through every item I’ve changed to make sure it’s on the map correctly.

It might be a decent app, but it shouldn’t be shown as a free app since it’s basically useless till you pay to unlock it. For this reason I immediately deleted it without a second thought. If the developers were upfront, I might have paid for it, but I abhor dishonesty and this is definitely dishonest.
Great for creating albums for all occasions

This app helps me create lovely albums by allowing me to combine pictures taken by different family members and sorting them into a story like photo album. Use it for all occasions.
Batch real metadata editing added

The developer listened to feedback and added the ability to edit metadata for photos without doubling their file sizes (which happened before). This removes revertability (but you can still go to Recently Deleted to recover the originals) but that’s not very important when adding locations to photos. This makes Metapho the perfect companion for someone with a digital camera. I use the lightning to SD card adapter to import my camera photos to my iPhone, batch edit their metadata using Metapho, and everything’s great. Well-designed app!
