Deliberately Miscategorized App

Cod_Fish

Not free! There are better apps for $2.99 ($1 less) that are honest about charging for the app. Don’t bother with someone who has to con you into downloading and trick you into purchasing. Other reviews warn that even after purchase, editing is more limited than it appears. If the app was any good, they would be honest about its content and price.

Amazing app for privacy-conscious people

orangetwelve

This is an app every person concerned about metadata in photos should download. Sharing through the share menu is easy as can be; however, iOS 12 seems to have broken the functionality to share multiple photos at the same time. Other than that one issue, it’s a must-have.

The best EXIF/metadata editing app I’ve come across so far

Starwalk7

Tried a couple of apps, this is really the best EXIF/metadata editing app - the functionality completeness, the UI design, the stability of the app (esp. not messing up with anything else on the pic file/metadata). I used to keep another app which has more complete view of EXIF and other metadata - back then Metapho only showed part of the metadata info. Now that Metapho also offers a complete view, no need to keep that one anymore. I’m happy that the developing team hear what the users need and keep improving the product. Definitely worth the $3 price.

Liars - Must Purchase

itsallonesandzeros

Again, Apple Store has another app that advertises a free app that in reality doesn’t do anything until you purchase it. Every icon in the app has a lock button that only gets removed when you give them $3.99. FALSE ADVERTISING, LIARS, BAIT & SWITCH SCAM.

Can’t Add a Caption

A.Serious.Man

All you can do is modify metadata like the date, for example. I wanted to add a few notes or a caption like a comment. Can’t do it. I want my money back.

Superb!

I was using “investigator” for the past few years. After an entire year went by without updates, I decided to find an alternative. This app is better in every way. It works perfectly, looks beautiful, and is perfectly optimized. There’s really nothing else to say. It does exactly what it should. Get it. Buy it. Love it.

Perfect photo metadata app

ccrosby94

After just coming back from Disney, I wanted an app that I could adjust the photos day/time. While I know I can use the Photos app on my Mac to do that, I wanted an iOS app that could too. This app is perfect! It allows you to easily view your photos, review the metadata, and edit it if necessary. If there was one thing I could change it would be to see icons on each of the thumbnails so you could at a glance tell which photos don’t contain location/time metadata.

Excellent

Mac156

Great app for Exif peaking and even removal. It shows everything but a histogram, which would be really neat to add.

No multiple select

Lattanothun

This app does not appear to be able to select multiple images. I am using the free version and did not purchase because of this missing feature. (If this is available in the paid version please respond developer.)

I don't mind paying for good software, but I do mind being suckered with a free tease only to find the app useless unless I pay. $3.99 is not a big price, so why do they need to deceive us?
