Not getting notifications

I don’t get any comment or likes notifications although all my settings are set to allow them.

No push notifications and messages

Facebook Messenger notifications don't sent a push notification and the inbox doesn't show the current chat. Notification shows when you're in the app but when you click on it to respond the chat isn't there.

Notifications don’t work.

I manage only one page for my small side business and need to have prompt replies to messages. Granted, I don’t get most business through Facebook messages, but I do answer calls and return emails and messages quickly. I can’t return a Facebook message if I don’t know about it. Other than that, the app is neat, but not incredibly helpful.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get rid of the 22 notification number off the app since switching to the “new inbox”. I want to be able to click the notifications and the number drops- like regular Facebook. This is annoying and makes me think I keep missing new ones when it’s the same number each time I go into it. Please fix!!

This app is very flawed. No matter what I try even deleting and starting fresh when I got a new iPhone the notifications will not go away. How am I supposed to keep up with my business page when I can’t see new notifications because the old won’t go away.

Problems with supposedly unread comments

I spend a lot of time using this app and its inability to refresh and mark as “read” all comments or messages is really frustrating. Because of this app’s deficiency in this area my work is more complex. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app several times, I’ve visited forums, and there isn’t a solution - other than deleting the app once and for all.

I like the app but I found it frustrating because it gives you double the information. So you are seeing the comments twice so why do you need the repeat?

I assumed it was a bug Nd waited for an update. I have updates and cleaned all my messages and notifications out but it’s still showing I have 21 notifications and it’s not accurately notifying me when I have one! What a junk app. It’s a total waste and I would have it if I didn’t need it
