Idk if it was an update or not but the ?? which I set as a ? it won’t get larger like before I would just be able to hold it down and it’d shake and the emoji would get bigger now it stays the same size and won’t even shake so if this was a update can you plz change it back cuz this really frustrates me but other then that it does pretty good for the most part I use this app the most to talk to my bf and stuff thanks and I hope u take this into consideration and it gets fixed

You can’t delete multiple messages at once how lame is that . My messages date back all the way when I first got my Facebook . I can’t use it because it’s bogged down from previous messages

i just updated messenger, i restarted my phone and even updated facebook, i try n open the app and it crashes, cant seem to get it to work help lol

Not showing all marketplace messages

Not sure why I was receiving messages for an item on marketplace. A new potential buyer messaged me, it popped up in the notification but not in the app. I also see it on the Facebook website. Is there a limit to how many messages you can receive per item

The past few days messenger is showing I have a new notification and I don’t, now I supposedly have 2 new notifications yet I don’t! I also heard dings, but nothing new! WTH!?!?! Please fix! Thanks
Most new updates don’t add to the app

Editing to add: The search conversation function glitches now; I can search for a word and it will list al the conversations with that word, but when I select a conversation it won’t load. The app gets more glitchy after that, and I always have to restart it. Editing to start with the biggest issue: this app lags like crazy now. It was way faster before the update. The stickers, certainly, take longer to load and to send, but even worse, just the messages themselves lag now. This app kept pestering me to update, so I did, and now I wish I hadn’t. I like messenger in general, and I appreciate the automatic switching to dark mode at night to match my iPhone settings. But everything else is a bummer. Certain stickers or text phrases used to unleash a storm of hearts or balloons, and it was a very cute and fun feature that I loved. With the new update, there is nothing. Also don’t like how there’s a search bar automatically in the sticker and gif box as well as a big thick bar to choose between sticker and gif; this takes up room on the sticker and gif selection sheet and makes finding the sticker I want more cumbersome. Isn’t the point of updates to make the app less so? Last is a small thing, but still irritating—on the Chats list page (inbox?), either a grey check mark or a small version of my contact’s icon would appear on the right of the message slot, allowing me to see at a glance whether several different people had seen my last message in their respective chats. I don’t understand why this feature is gone. I don’t get any of this and I’m pretty sure this review is one of hundreds, but I’m throwing it in. Thank you for trying, but I don’t see the justification for some of these updates.
