New Update is HORRIBLE

Ever since the new update my messages send very slowly. Sometimes, it takes up to 20 seconds for a message to send (which is extremely slow for Instant Messaging). The recording feature is way worse. If I don’t keep moving my finger on the screen it will lock and delete the whole recording! I seriously miss the old Facebook messenger before it ever became a separate app.

The number one thing I liked about Messenger was that you could use it without a Facebook account. You could just use your mobile phone number. Now that they’ve changed that feature, I can’t even change my profile picture on Messenger!! I have to make an actual Facebook account in order to change my picture and stuff like that. Please give back the option to change my picture on the app, and not have it synced up with a Facebook account. Please!
Switching accounts

Aye honestly I hate switching accounts. Every. Single. Time. I want to let one of my employees log in in order to ask for a ride home when I’m in the middle of one of my shifts blows. Because then I have to delete the ENTIRE APP instead of just being able to log them out and stop receiving their notifications

Always asking for feedback after call ends. Accidentally swiping up on video always adds unwanted people . Nobody use this app!

please please please add a setting where i can block all message requests. i am constantly getting unwanted messages and would appreciate if they would stop.
Having to always type in a password

I find it very hard to get in my messenger than before. Why do I have to always type in a password each time I need to see my massage. For me it’s not being user friendly for us seniors. It’s very boring.

Keeps saying I have messages not read when I’ve clearly opened them and read them and when I try to play a video all I hear is sound and can’t see the video and I know it’s not my connection and also when I try to pull my keyboard down to stop typing it won’t let me

I have been using messenger for years now to talk to my boyfriend who lives in England. It used to be amazing. Over the last month though I have been loosing it with the app. First of all it never actually sends him notifications that i have called. This means that we both can go hours with missed calls from each other and have no idea. And second when I try to text in the app it force closes and I lose all of what we have been talking about. Absolutely frustrating!
