Wasn’t it enough that you advertise on Facebook app now you have started to do so in the messenger app itself first you force us to use this chat app completely unnecessary by the way..

I enjoy messenger, but I found a bug last time I used it. My friends Facebook got hacked and he sent me a link in messenger. I didn’t click it of course, but I can’t delete it. I want to make sure my little brother doesn’t accidentally click it because I let him use my phone a lot and he likes to click things he’s not supposed to. I ended up deleting the whole conversation to get rid of it, but I should be able to delete the single message! I can select the delete option, but when I do, it says message deleted and then nothing happens. The message is still there. I experimented with sending myself a YouTube link and found the same bug. It said deleted, but the link was still there and working. Please fix this! Thank you!

This app is by far the worst app I have ever used. First off I only redownloaded it because people insist on still using facebook for group messages when there are far better solutions out there. So Basically I had this app for about 5 mins and as soon as I opened it I was flashed with several messages asking for permission for different things, all of which I declined. Then I proceed to try and find the groupchat that my friends told me I was in which took longer then it should because apparently there is no simple way for me to see unread messages. While trying to find the messages on just about every screen I navigated to I was halted by a screen that popped up saying something like "this app is really better with notifications turned on, wanna turn them on?" NO I DO NOT THATS WHY I DECLINED IT TO BEGIN WITH. For the love of god any one who is thinking about using facebook for a group messaging app I urge you to reconsider and just get on any of the hundreds of apps that are available for both IOS and Android that can accomplish group messaging without all this unnecessary crap and constant pop ups if you dont turn on something that facebook wants you to have on. Why give me the option to turn stuff off if your just gonna nag me about it so often that the app become borderline unusable

I live near the beach 12 years and we left there three years ago to move to South Carolina. I do not like South Carolina my white sandy beaches gave me peace. At my age and I love standing on the edge of the water I just thanking God for the beauty of Destin beach it is just so gorgeous ,and I love the harbor walk and I miss all of that so much. it’s very difficult to be happy here when you’ve had the beach life. I am Bonnie Emmons I really would like to win a vacation because I’ve never wished so much to get back to Destin .i probably have a few years left but you can bet that if I don’t win eventually I get back down there. I love all the people there ,they were wonderful people and somebody’s going to be very happy with his prize thank you for the opportunity.
Add time stamps to conversations

Since a lot of businesses use this app to communicate with their customers, it would be ideal if every conversation bubble had a time stamp. It’s a little irritating when companies/customers want dates and times and you have to scroll up the conversation only for it to say “Wednesday 11:58” for nine conversation bubbles. It should be something like “27/2/2018 11:58” to make it easier for businesses as well as customers to track what and when things are being said

I recently had to uninstall and reinstall the app and it asked me FIVE TIMES to turn on notifications, and the little red bubble reminding me to turn on notifications is still appearing by my icon. You update the app enough, understand that not EVERYONE wants constant notifications and turn off this annoying feature!!

Please don’t ever take away the option to be inactive on messenger! I feel violated in the worst way to know that people who I don’t want to know that I’m online know that I am! Please fix this immediately!
