Annoying unnecessary updates

Sick and tired of all the updates!! Enough is enough, how can this simple app need so many updates. I don’t care about your advertising or anything extra that you feel we want. We’re not clicking anything you put up it just annoys everyone! Unless there’s a security risk to our data then nothing new or added is needed!

This is awful. Facebook says that it's helping deal with spam and that crap, DEAL WITH THE HACKERS!!!! ITS ANNOYING!!!!!
One very annoying thing

So the app overall is very good and works, for the most part. I use an IPhone 6s and a lot of the times whenever I listen to a voice message the screen always turns black and the voice message goes very quiet. The only way I know how to fix this is by pressing the home button which also makes me get out of the app. A lot of the times I try again and it does the same thing. If you could fix this then it would be five star, but right now it’s only four stars for the VERY annoying bug (I don’t know if it has to do with my phone though)

I love it great app lovely highly recommended it helps with all your texting needs...but there is one thing that I wish it had and that is the banned setting where you can choose who you want to banned and how long...and then and only then will it be the best texting app ever

Pro: I love messenger! It helps me stay connected with friends/family as i relocated from Indiana to Atlanta. Con: I hate the inbox notifications that automatically cloud your inbox once you add someone as a friend... the extra notification is a pain i don’t delete them and there are too many to delete now. Please take away that ASAP

Since the last update I have had 3 messages that I can not get to or find anywhere in my messenger: the settings icon in the bottom right corner has disappeared so I can’t even check my hidden message requests wasnt this update supposed to “fix the notification banner”? Wth it’s very annoying.
