The app is great, I love that it coincides with Facebook and saves my social life when I’m traveling. However, it drives me absolutely nuts that if I don’t update the app right away that annoying blue bar sits at the top... let me update it when I want!

Got hacked and so did my contacts. Don’t use it because of that reason. And now to delete it again because of “hackers”
“Last Active” is very delayed

Whenever I’m chatting with my friends, it will say that they are still active. When in reality they haven’t been active in over 30 minutes. I have to close the app out completely, re-open it, and even then it sometimes won’t update the last active feature. Really annoying because it makes it look like they are ignoring my messages.

Why don’t I have the payment option in the app? I used it just recently but then it disappeared with the new update.

Please return the option of seeing which of my friends are active, and/or when they were last “active” without showing myself as “active”. I value my privacy.

This is really no good. I was ok with my older version. There were no security bugs. Why are you forcing people to update messenger even if we don’t want. I’m thinking about leaving Facebook altogether. Smh.
