Disappointing

jacquelineswimberly

This app is such a disappointment because now during the time of migration when different birds come through, the app won’t let me identify the birds I find. Today I had a Painted Bunting and when I went to identify it there was no option for the bunting given. I find it very frustrating. If the point is to help gather information there should be an open option given for me to report what I’ve seen.

Great App!!

Using it is a breeze.

Spot on!

Best app ever! Love identifying birds wherever we are. This app never fails. Even with grainy photos it’s identified birds. A MUST for bird lovers!

Love this app

This is great for the novice bird-watcher - we used it to help our teenage niece get excited about birds too! We loved the recordings of the birds too.

This app is amazing

I was looking for a book to tote around to identify birds as a new birder, but nothing seemed very simple. This app was mentioned on a review of one of the books, so I tried it. Unbelievably simple and packed full of pics and information. Love it - thanks for making it so readily available!

Merlin is INDISPENSABLE!

In seconds, I have not only an reliable ID, but I get to see many views, female and juvenile morph, calls, and songs. AND I get to be part of citizen science.

Love it?

So simple to use, and finds my bird every single time. Can’t ask for anything more!

Fantastic ID tool

Lovable dudes

Easy enough for a novice to use. Photos and calls are nice features.

I am one with the birds

Before downloading this app, I was merely a bird watching enthusiast. I can now safely proclaim to the world that I am one with the birds. They have accepted me into their gracious wings and welcomed my chirping phone. Though awkward at first, we have come to accept each other in this loving home that we call nature. This will be my last post as I begin my new life amongst the avian species. Kaw kaw.
