Not as Good as Advertized
Experienced Birder
Tried to use the app to identify unkown bird in wild. Even used the photo ID and app could not identify the bird from an excellent photo. Emailed Cornell for help and never received a response.

And I've tried a few. So easy to use. The date is key. And you can specify size between a robin and sparrow....thus narrowing down even more.

I’ve found that it rarely is not able to ID the bird, but I haven’t downloaded all the updates.
