Why would Mercedes Benz give their customers such a crappy app? Takes forever to connect to the vehicle, works about half the time, and it constantly times out, requiring you to log back in. Figure it out MB.

I have waited to review this app because I wanted to see how well Mercedes was going to fund it to be successful and innovative so I could review appropriately. Since 2018 the app in general has improved tremendously. For me one of the key features was and continues to be the remote start. It was very unreliable and I can say that it is has improved. I still have to watch the app after the command to make sure it started and that bothers me. The notifications helped but my trust level isn’t fully there. It shows that getting it right the first time is critical. As for features. I’d like them to lower the limit for gas levels to allow remote start. I’d also like to see a winter remote option where it will also turn on heated seats and steering wheel. It would be nice to also tie in the service report and maintenance scheduling through the app and keep a history of my maintenance and upcoming services. The finance feature of the app was truly helpful.
