I love it compared to a lot of others!

Compared to a lot of apps I use, I think it’s different and engaging. I use anki to work on the most common words and a lot of the words you use in Memrise’s main course seem to pop in the most common words. The videos and tiktok esk side makes it fun to hear my target language and I love how they (for Japanese) focus on kanji and the answer has the furigana. Every app has their own focus but it seems to connect day to day life “things that would happen” which would help your brain connect the dots through context and placement kind of imitating immersion. Well done :3 Now, depending on what level you are on and language I would say depends on whether you can use the app or not. For example, Japanese I’d learn hiragana first and then hop in here. Other then that I don’t know about Arabic or Russian

Memrise is on another planet. Real life videos of people saying words with their own style is game-changing. The camera recognition app is super fun too. Honestly, I had been using another app for 4 years and getting nowhere - and within just a short time I feel so good about my potential with Portuguese already using Memrise. Thank you!

Why is it these language apps and programs constantly throw every version of a word at the same time? 5 similar words at once. It’s annoying and counterproductive. 3 stars. Unsubscribed. Deleted app.

Memrise was rated #1 app to help learn with another language by a Portuguese instructor I follow on YouTube due to the fact that it shows real world pronunciation and use and it did. it disappoint! Am excitedly loving this app!
