Waste of the money

This app doesn’t work at all. And I sent email to them about my problem but they never contacted me, back.

My kids swim local club dual meets, USA swim, and public high school league swimming. Searching for meets should have the same functionality as a Google search. Any part of a meet name should yield the full name as a search result. It does not do this. A meet must be named exactly as the hosting team lists it, but this is sometimes different than the name of the team and meet listed on the meet announcement. I often have to search for my swimmers’ names before I find the meet they are registered for. Location services also do not work. Searching “Meets near me” often yields only some meets near where I am, however, I still can find the meet by using swimmer’s name. It is frustrating that I pay for this app yet it does not work well particularly with the search function.

Life Savor for dyslexic swimmers

I have a dyslexic swimmer that can not process information on a spreadsheet very well. I can’t explain how frustrating it is to watch your child huddled up with all the other swimmers on deck trying to get their heat and lane info. It’s a lot to process without being dyslexic. This matter gets even worse when the meet doesn’t make heat sheets available to the parents. Events with meet mobile allow our child to access only his information, interpret it in a more focused environment and let’s the parents communicate with their swimmer to make sure they are reading everything right. All swim meets should make this data available. We don’t mind paying for the information just like we would if we bought a heat sheet. Thank You Meet Mobile!

Update Oct 27th- Thank you for adding back in the features you removed. Especially being able to see the whole race results from one swimmers results. Now...can we do something about the hard to read text? Bolder maybe. Yellow on white is never easy on the eyes. The app was once...ok. After the update, It’s functionality has diminished to a point of being unhelpful. In the older version, I could see my swimmers event result, then click on the event name and see the psych sheet or list of final results. This feature is no longer there. If that could be added back in, I would be grateful. May I also suggest adding in additional features . Making each swimmers name a touchable hyperlink of sorts from any screen, that would take us to that swimmers event list would be stellar. I don’t favorite all of my swimmers team, because I don’t care for the hundreds of notifications. But being able to pick a teammate out from an events finals list, touch their name, and see their results and upcoming events would be very helpful. And if you want to get super crazy helpful, the ability to request accounts to be merged. My swimmer has at least 7! My favorite list is llloooonnngggg but it’s only for three swimmers.

Why remove features and make it harder to read?

Why would you remove features and make the text harder to read. It would also be nice to be able to graph a swimmers progress over time, as well as merge swimmers. For instance, my children moved to a new club, and none of their times show up.

Why on earth wouldn’t an app that knows what meets an athlete has participated and the times from their races NOT show the athlete’s historical times and/or best time when looking at an event? Can’t say? We’d have to ask Active (the developer). This is an obvious and needed feature. Active please earn 3 more stars by adding it...

Family Sharing doesn’t work

App doesn’t work for my daughter, who is on my Apple Family sharing. Says her “Apple ID” was not used to purchase the app.

Beware subscription

meetmobile is shady

I initially signed up for an annual subscription. One year later I was charged for another year, without any prompt indicating that I wanted to continue. MeetMobile is refusing to refund me. My kid dropped swim team! I have no use for this app! Shady business practice. Not cool. Beware.

Doesn’t work with family sharing

With the most recent refresh, I am unable to access any of the swimmers event details. I use family sharing with my wife and the App gives an error message as if we do not have a subscription.

What is the difference between $5.99 year and $6.99 year subscriptions. Why isn’t the $5.99 an option to sign up for? Thank you.
