Slooooooow

I’m not sure what happened with the latest updates but the app is poking and crashing.

Inaccurate

Just went to my daughters dive meet and saw an ad to download this app. I did find her name but they had the results completely wrong. Oh well would have been great for sharing results if they were correct...

Wish there was a competing app

Involuntary User

To put it simply, this is the most infuriating app on my phone, and the only reason I use it is because there is no alternative, and it is often the only real-time option, including the internet (sidearm stats, etc). Searching for meets is the first issue - sometimes you can get lucky and type one word associated with the meet title and it’ll pop up as an option - most times, however, that does not work and even finding the meet title via a swimmer search and then typing it EXACTLY as written does not result in a successful search. The main issue is how INFURIATINGLY SLOW this app is. It’s not an issue of the meet director taking his/her time to update the meet. It begins with clicking on the meet *wait :30-1:00*, then you need to click “Events” *wait another :30-1:00*, followed by clicking into the session *you guessed it - wait another :30-1:00*, followed by the event itself *diddo* and diddo for all of that if you want to go back. Think that’s agitating? A third of the time, the app crashes and you have to re-start the process all over again. Like I said, since USA Swimming refuses to create a competing app, MeetMobile has no incentive to fix these glaring issues, so I’m really just writing this in hopes that it gets seen along with other reviews, and the issues are fixed.

Unintuitive, frustrating to use.

I wish there were other options, but we’re stuck. Better than nothing, I suppose.

This app is so slow

Regardless of connection the app takes forever to load what I clicked on. I have to use it though because it’s the only app that posts swim results in a convenient way. Used to be faster just switch it back.

Meet Mobile

MCJFire

Provides useful information, but infuriatingly slow. I cannot comprehend why something as simple as text and numbers can take upwards of a minute to load. Especially considering that this service costs over 5 dollars annually to use, this loading issue should not even be a problem.

What Happened?

Meet Mobile is running super slow. What happened? 3 star rating because it works.

Slow, slow, slow

This app used to be awesome. Click on a meet, the sessions pop up immediately. Click on an event, the results are at your fingertips. Click on a swimmer’s event, bingo—splits are on the screen. Nowadays, it takes at least 30 seconds to 2-3 minutes to wait for the app to load. Very time-consuming when trying to view a swimmers results. Let alone multiply swimmers. I would gladly pay $15 a year if it meant the performance of the app improved. I wish another company would develop similar software, and we had another choice, because our only option is slow performance.

Terrible. useless.

I tried to keep track of one diver's score during prelims, when I know that they had already started, and it said it hadn't started. I kept checking and refreshed like 15 times in an hour. Nothing. Then finals, nothing. An hour after they had both finished, I checked again and it said "completed" and I went to check the scores and it tried to charge me money. The only thing it really does it be a roster and a schedule, which you can find very easily for free online (and it'll be more accurate).

Where’s the Competition?

It would be easy to take their customers because this app is poorly set up and laggy. We’ve had the paid version for years. The app has not changed. Updates are always “performance improvements” but I’ve seen no improvement. It’s a shame there’s no alternative. They don’t even feature a notifications tab!
