Poor syncing

AppleBro1

I have to delete the apps sometimes to get this app to sync over iCloud. Ridiculous. 100 a year is really aggravating to fork over and it’s a matter of time before someone else comes up with the features. Gets a 3 cause it is still is the best at reports and logging on the go being a 121 pilot but again, it’s only a matter of time before another app catches up.

Not sure who designed this app but they were NOT a pilot!

All I want to do is see my total times displayed in one place. I am trying to input over 30 years of professional flying via one flight entries for each aircraft type. This is proving to be incredibly problematic.

Great customer service

I’m a 121 pilot who recently made the switch from a paper log to electronic and I have definitely experienced a learning curve using the log ten pro app on my iPad. For the most part I’ve consulted with my fellow 121 pilots in setting up my new subscription. When I have had to reach out to Log ten pro for help they have been timely and precise in their responses. I appreciate their professionalism.

Not worth is

For the ridiculous subscription fee you get nothing. Email only customer service, no phone. They only respond about once every other day or so. The big issue is for all that money, there is no backup of your logbook data. If something happens to your device, you’re screwed.

Don’t waste your time.

I got this to record personal history as much as or more than recording Federal flight information. Coradine cannot keep up with the Apple changes. Twice I have lost months/years of data. A huge amount of wasted time, and the stories that I hoped to cherish later in life, now gone forever. Fill out your Log/Diary the old fashioned way. This is a worthless app!

Customer Support doesn’t respond

Customer service essentially ghosts. I understand the cost of the product and thought the customer support would also be of that level. I sent in a crash report on July 19 with an explanation, the application ‘product’ was useless as it crashed with in seconds of opening every time. Month and half later I still have not received a response or acknowledgment. I had to turn to a personal friend in tech for help, so I could use the application.

Empty Subscription - Hideous Support - Bug Ridden Subscription

I’ve used this application for a really long time. Too long, I’d argue, as it’s been one fight after another to ensure that the data I show is reliable. (The FAA doesn’t appreciate data that isn’t accurate.) To date, I’ve had the following problems—none of which were resolved: - iCloud Synchronization - I’ve heard excuses on this one. Generally, the response has been to blame Apple. Second in line is to blame my device(s). What I’ve never seen is a solution. - Application crashing on launch - About ten seconds into the application launch, it crashes...with no intervention on my part. I’m sure there is something going on in the background, but I have no way of knowing what. When I developed software (many, many years ago), we actually were expected to build traps into the application to catch exceptions, and deal with them gracefully. I couldn’t say what their solution was for this one—I never received a reply. - Discrepancies in data. I’ve had instances where I’ve had a character in my notes (a backslash or forward slash if memories serves) that causes all following data to populate oddly. By “oddly,” I mean that it omits hours for some columns, populates extraneous data in other columns, or just omits data completely. This took me hours to troubleshoot (the lack of historical responses led me to do this myself). - New today, the application tells me I’ve reached some device limit (new to me), and fails to restore purchases on a device. I just submitted a ticket on this one. I’m not hopeful for a response that is going to show culpability on their part, but I’m hoping there will be some level of service. What troubles me most about this company is the response to the high subscription price (and it is high) is that they provide a professional application and superior customer service. This could not be further from the truth, based on my experience. It’s amusing to me that they’re good at explaining how much they invest in the application. They fail to comprehend the amount of time I have invested in their application. If they did, they would hold true to their assertion that they provide a professional, quality application, and superior support.

Good, but can be much better

Vicious30

I’ve been a LogTen user for about 4 years now. Works pretty well. The 1 thing that I would request for is a comparability with Apple Watch!! Who has time (or brain bites) to remember to dig their phone out holding short to hit the fly now button?? With the Apple Watch, you can do it with no effort at all!

Mostly works

CaptainKyler

Since the app keeps desperately asking me for a review, here it is. It is very customizable with a lot of options but really buggy. Doesn’t work on Mac Mojave update yet. Import is cumbersome, but finally got it to work. Syncing across devices works but it keeps asking to open a file. Overall, it mostly works, but definitely not polished.

Great Logbook

I’ve been using for just over a year now and couldn’t be more happy. Getting ready to apply to the Majors and the reports make pulling the information you need super easy!
