Like the app, but have been having bugs

Hi kjo

App is good and works efficiently, but in the learn feature, the cards start counting over at random times. Therefore I can never reach my goal of 100 cards a day. It is frustrating and I hope it will be fixed.

Needs more languages

SmolSoph

I downloaded this app because a lot of friends recommended it because it was the best language learning app they’ve used. I was really excited until I saw, you only have a few languages. That’s pretty sad considering I checked a while ago and you haven’t added any languages at all. Are you ever going to add more?

Great for learning practical vocab; some suggestions, though

YaMom-69-420

This app is great for learning practical vocabulary in simple little sentences. I love the grammar tab; I'm sure I'll refer to it more as I progress in the language I'm trying to learn. Even though the paid version has more features and words to learn, the free one works pretty great! My two criticisms are: 1.) I like the idea of 100 words per day, but it can be a little mind numbing after a while. The repetition is indeed helpful, and maybe I have an attention issue, but sometimes 100 seems too lofty a goal. I would still keep the 100 for free users, but possibly add a 50-60 daily goal as an option. 2.) Even as I try to complete 100 words, as I get around the 65-78 mark, the number resets, sometimes by more than one. I understand it may deduct a point for a wrong answer, but it's irritating to say the least when you feel you can never achieve your goal. I want to be corrected when I'm wrong, but the baseline should not be unattainable. Anyways, the app is still very useful; nice job to the developers!

False advertising

E.S.S.

Signed up specifically to learn Estonian, but when I downloaded it there was no Estonian. Only four languages. Shame, because it looks like people who want French, German, Russian, or Spanish are having a great time with the app.

The best way to remember the 5000 common words.

Entropyfails

It has all the words that most people use in daily language. It is important to focus on those words first and that’s what this app does!

Complementary to other learning materials

netvoyeur

I’ve used Lingvist for about a year to improve my French language skills, and find it to be a valuable tool among several complementary learning aids I’m using. Even though I’ve made it through all 5000+ words, I try to review 100 cards per day in order to cement my vocabulary, as well as continue to learn how to read whole sentences quickly and intuitively. Would definitely recommend this app in your language-learning toolkit.

Too expensive

AtiskitAtaskit

They need to put a few more ads and not charge, like Duolingo does. I’m not going to pay for this.

Overpriced

sushrk

The app is good for improving vocabulary. BUT the monthly subscription is way overpriced at $28/month. This is obviously to push people to sign up for the yearly option, which then charges you $90 at once. I don’t appreciate being forced to pay so much upfront, but would gladly do $9/month, AND I’ll probably forget to cancel anyway. If Netflix can do without charging for a year upfront, why can’t you? You have a good product, people will renew their subscriptions.

Enjoying this app... a bit addictive!

Not a huge fan of online language training, but this app makes it fun/challenging... a bit like a game. And the app keeps “score” as you strive to achieve daily goals. I also like that the dialect is Castilian, proper, classical Spanish...

Decent

Good for vocab, I’m using it for German but the voice recognition doesn’t seem that accurate
