This is what i needed. A tool that will give me data based on my learning. Helping with vocabulary i need rather than vocabulary i've already mastered. I wish they had more courses in other languages like (Romanian, Swedish, etc.). They have a ton of resources ranging from pronounciation to grammar, etc. It was easy for me to spend 30 minutes practicing on here. If they offer a payed premium service, i'd recommend that as well. This application is well designed and it is simply wonderful. So far the best language practicing app. Please note, this is an app for those who already have practice the language and want to find ways to expand it or practice more vocabulary, etc. It is not intended for those who are verily learning a language.

Audio read-backs are very helpful, as are the repetitive test on words/phrases you're getting wrong.

The app repeats the cards you get wrong, like anki. But there is no need to make cards they are already made.

What a gift! The flow of this exerciser seems to fit my personality so well. I can't believe that this is available to me. Thanks for taking my 72 year old brain out for a walk ! My German is quickly improving and i gulped first and then started Russian. Pray for me, if you will . . .?

I only wish I could reset progress and/or go back to a specific level. To reset progress, I have to make a completely new email. :(

Easy to use, nice stats that give you feedback on your progress. Only request would be a feature to let you correct small typos in your answer. Sometimes it can be a pain on mobile to retype long word just because I typed one of the letters incorrectly.

Ugh. This is so good. I've tried duolingo for a few months and even a class to learn Spanish and somehow nothing ever stuck. I think knowing things like the gender or tense really helps making sense of a language and not just learning individual words or phrases. While Lingvist totally works without getting deep into grammar, I find it super helpful to really understand what's going on. The repetition for words you get wrong is also spot on and I can tell I'm retaining a lot more after a few days already than after months of duolingo. Good stuff.
