Can't See The meaning of Words in card filling
bad way to unlock features
Because the keyboard covers most part of the meaning of the words. I 'm using ip7plus.

There have a bug : When I try use this App with Google Translate on iPad Pro. The keyboard sometime not work in Google Translate ( pop window mode ) I think is this app force focus the input. Can you fix this ? It’s annoying... : (

Lingvist is a deceptively simple program, but with consistent use it is extraordinarily effective at building and retaining basic competence in several languages. The algorithm revisits words and phrases over time, re-activating your memory and supporting the transition from passive to active memory. I have used Rosetta Stone & Busuu in the past. I found both somewhat effective and enjoyed the use of pictures to establish visual associations, but I prefer the rapid pace of Lingvist. Weakness: Lingvist does not have a way to highlight particular phrases that I’d like to return to for further study, which is unfortunate. In those cases, I tend to snap a screenshot to return to those key phrases, which is a simple workaround, but a “Favorites” list would be a nice addition to the app. Response to the developer: many thanks for your feedback. I’ve contacted the Lingvist team a couple of times, and each time I am deeply impressed at your team’s swift and attentive responses. Truly exceptional!

Sooo I downloaded this one thinking that it had my target language (korean) as i do with all of them and well it doesnt. It needs more asian languages

This app used to be free with no limits on how many words I could learn or challenges I could attempt, but has since been monetized. This is extremely disappointing as it was and remains a quality app. However, the price point is outrageous for what is essentially a dressed up flash card/dictionary combo app. Duolingo, a mainstay in phone-based language learning, has all of its content available for free and the paid options are more quality-of-life so there is little pressure to pay if you don’t want the frills. Lingvist has opted to gate their content and I have seen few developer responses that adequately address this change in business model. I don’t want to hear about how the “free users help our algorithm.” All that tells me is you’re using free users to improve your product while cutting us off from key features and content. No thanks. I’ll be uninstalling this app. Devs, I hope you reconsider this current model, or at least its price-point. I understand, however, if this is something above your heads and was instituted by some suit interested in the bottom line rather than education.

Unoptimized for smaller displays

The app doesn't get along with 4" displays, and hides important text behind the keyboard, yet always activates keyboard automatically on every card. Please, fix this as soon as possible.

It’s a great concept and I love the option to learn through dialogue, but after a few phrases, the app is now stuck on one phrase without every moving on to the next one, no matter how many times I write the correct answer. Maybe make it so that you can skip phrases? That way if something like this happens, it won’t ruin the app. Also, being able to use Bluetooth with the app would be nice. Every time I tried to use it, my Bluetooth would stop working the second I opened the app.
