This was my go to game for over a year but the last update made it an unbearable chore to play. Leaving my review before deleting. What a waste of time and money.

In all honesty, YES, this game is VERY addicting and at times fun .... HOWEVER, it’s the same thing DAY IN and DAY OUT!! Nothing ever changes and when it does, the change is from old to new but rehashed.... COMPLETE trash. These fools hook, lined and SUNK me for a year! I bought into their antics and now I regret every dollar! Save yourself and RUN NOW because the game is super addicting and will ROB YOU BLIND! I fell into their VIP TRAP for 500 days and NOW it must end! Please, don’t fall into my footsteps and download anything BUT this game. You’ll thank me later!! Trust me.

I have played for over a year, spent money, and they have continued to change it so that have to spend a lot to get anything good to play with.

Started playing this for the match 3 and learned the rpg part. Have been playing 3 years. Liked it so much that I purchased the monthly subscription (ViP). At one point I started purchasing in game items as we were told they wouldn’t lose game value. Recently they revamped the game and all of those in game purchases lost their value. I can’t play or recommend a game that the developers flat out lie and sell items under false pretenses.

New Changes Make it Too Expensive

I’ve been playing for a couple of months and at first it was really fun and therefore worth some cash to me but a couple of weeks ago the devs changed it to where you would have to pay a ridiculous amount of money on a weekly basis just to remain competitive and have something to do. They’ve gotten quite the backlash from their player base for this so I am hoping they will revert back to how they were doing things before and save this game.

If you really want to know what people think about this game get the N3TWORK app (run by the developers of this game) and read thru the comments in the [Official] LGOH group. You will get a look at what current players are now saying about this game. This was an amazing game for over a year. I loved playing this game and played every day, until today. They made huge changes to the game that now require you to spend insane amounts of gems (aka real money) to get cards required to even compete. This change also rendered past cards essentially useless. These past cards required carefully planning and costs to acquire, and now they are pretty much useless. I hope the developers realize this huge mistake and correct these changes. Until then I will not be playing this game (a decision many others have also made)

A combination of MTG and puzzle matching seemed like a good idea so i played and i played for a while. Several months. I decided that I’d played it long enough to subscribe for the benefits, so I did, for three months. The game just kept wanting more and more money, but worse, as I was a part of a team, I was only truly helpful to them when i paid $30 per month. To stop the subscription feels like I’m letting my team down and no game should make you feel that way. When I look back and the fun this game provided, it was a good time, but it wasn’t worth $90. The price is too high for the simplistic, repetitive gameplay. I’m also upset by their lack of performance review options. To sum it up ok at best.

I have played this game for three years and had fun for a long time. N3TWORK has chose to make the game unplayable unless you spend $500+ a week to get the event decks and relics. The people I have met in the game are awesome but I can not justify spending more than a car payment a week to play a game. It’s not just about the money the developers have resorted to lying to all the players about their intentions. They promised one thing and either did not deliver or use a bait and switch. Completely unethical business practices.
