Game is really addicting

This is the only game that has access to my wallet, the devs push out really nice looking Heroes and love the weekly events to participate in. This game more is a pay for advantage more than pay to win, but you don’t need to spend in order to become top of the leaderboards just naturally would take you more time to acquire leveling material and etc. I wasn’t ever a really big fan of gem matching games, but when you start playing for awhile the gem matching is just a small part of the game. There’s way more important and visually satisfying things. I’d recommend this game highly ??

I canceled my vip account when I found this out. I was already irritated that vip basically gets you nothing for $30/ month. I recommend avoiding this game as it is purely pay to win and the developers have become incredibly greedy.

Fun gem match game but they’ve made it completely pay to win now. The devs are catering to whales spending hundreds of dollars every week. If you’re looking for a new game to play, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Too much of the content is behind a huge paywall aka LOOT BOXES. And drops are RANDOM and they obfuscate / hide the actual drop rate. To make it worse, all cards gained during weekly event are automatically nerfed after the event. Damage drops significantly forcing you purchase each event. They are now asking for 1 weekly relic for about $20!!! This is on top of $30 monthly for VIP ( little benefit), couple of hundreds of dollars PER WEEK to get event cards and other items that they said was never going to be in the LOOT boxes. Note everything you buy is A CHANCE to get it. Guarantee packs are way more expensive !! It’s a money pit. And developers are dishonest. Game is developed for whales. Spend hundreds of $$& weekly! Find another game.

Not sure how Apple does there reviews but it’s weird that the “most helpful reviews” are old and back when the game use to cost little to none to build a good team. Now you don’t even need to play the game to get good characters you can just buy them with enough money. I wish the game would go back to the good old days when you could just play it without having to spend so much money.

Very Expansive game to play

The game is free to install. You are not required to buy anything in the game. Some free stuff offered all the time but are just junk to more mature players. Game comes with initial amount of blue gems to purchase character cards and relics and other items. Main game is the weekly Guild event where your and your guild take on either commender bosses or slayer bosses. If you don’t buy cards and relics from the weekly event you basically cannot do much in the game. To be effective, players will need to use blue gems to buy event items. Unfortunately, there is not enough free blue gems to keep up with the event every week. They offer multiple ways to buy additional blue gems from $5.99 for about 2800 blue gems to $100 for 10k blue gems. You need about 20k in blue gems to be able to build one decent deck of cards just for one week. The game is no fun if you don’t spend money to buy the gems to buy decent cards. Good cards are not guaranteed so you are also taking a chance when trying to get good cards. These cards can become useless after a few events because developer can change power on them and add more powerful cards at anytime. My experience so far, I am very disappointed with the game. I found the game in general very deceptive on what you can get with purchase. I have been playing 8 months and most of my cards are becoming useless in the newer events. I have spent more than $400 in 8 months and find the game less and less fun to play. Many has quit the game because of the latest deception they pulled and increase of number of blue gems needed to buy event relic. I will likely quit soon when I run out of my current stash of blue gems. I will not recommend anyone to play this game because it’s very expansive to play and the deceptive words and methods to get you to buy in app things. Good luck to those who still tried to play this game after this and many other similar reviews.

I have played this game for almost 3 years now at all levels of play. I don’t usually do reviews but this one is necessary. The game has always been an expensive game to play but the developers don’t know when to say enough is enough. Recent changes have gone too far. If you plan to start playing this game set aside A LOT of $$$$! Also have a method for reducing frustration, you will need it. Used to be a really fun game!
