Great game

Love the games but I hate the new pack purchase system. Spent 1300 gems and got nothing but old characters. Not one part of the new pack.....change it back please. Still a great game.

Legendary

I’ve played this game for nearly three years, been a VIP, etc and have sadly decided the game needs to be deleted. It appears as though the game developers have become more interested in profit than in engaging gameplay, and this has resulted in needing to replace the nearly 3 years and nearly 800 cards I have collected in order to continue playing. I now must buy a whole new set of cards to continue competitive play as they have failed to manage game mechanics and power scaling with this newest iteration of their game. It’s a shame. It was a good game.

Don't bother to get

IRERRN

Addendum to previous review.: I have now quit game. The latest bid for our money was to offer a discount on the card packs. The sad part is that it was not the same discount for everyone. Some got 20%, some 30 and highest I heard was 40%. No idea why. Plus the cards you wanted were still going to cost you 3200 (app) gems instead of the 5500 if you only got the 20% discount. And still had 3 packs to buy. Still with no guarantees of getting what you needed. Thus the decision to quit the game. I no longer felt valued as a consumer. Started playing a year ago and it was great. A few changes have been good but in the last 6 months the game had gone completely pay to play. Having the monthly VIP at $30 a month doesn't provide enough gems to get you even the main event card...not to mention the top cards for an event. If your willing to spend a minimum of $100 a week you might get the cards you need. Then if you do get the entire deck it doesn't always kill the bosses. Not to mention the problems playing with being kicked out, not able to log in and other game issues. Save yourself money and aggravation and run away fast. This once great game has started the slide into the pit especially since the recent update in December. now it's several hundred dollars a week to try and get the deck and only the support card is guaranteed. Plus there are now 3 separate decks to buy from to get everything.. This game has become a gambling game. Worse odds than Vegas. Run as fast as you can and save your money and sanity.

Agreeing with everyone else

Game was awesome.....then the update before Christmas made it a money grab and for only a chance at event cards. About 95% of the recent reviews are 1 & 2 stars because of these money hungry antics. The game needs to be changed back to how it was or it will lose many longtime followers and fail to get new players.

Waste of time

I have played this game consecutively for 2 years and have spent money on it as well. This game has gone downhill and fast. Canceled vip and will be uninstalling it soon. Not getting anymore of my hard earned money for cards I just dust and can’t even use anymore. Loved playing until the devs got super greedy and screwed the whole game up.

Do not play this game

Andrew huck

A great study on game play ruined by subhuman game runners. They represent every money hungry villain and are everything that’s wrong with the world. Do not play this game at all. Anything else is better. Stay away

Remember when Voldemort took over Hogwarts?

That’s how my guildmates and I feel about this game since the December 2019 updates. What other reviewers are saying about nerfed hero’s and not being able to collect items for free as you used to is true. What this means for new players is your dropping mass amounts of cash each week to be competitive and that F2P is no longer possible (unless you find dying on turn 2 fun). I have been playing this game for 800 days now and am at rank 250something so I know what I’m talking about. I still play it because my guildmates are awesome and we chat a lot in Line, but we are collectively trying new games since the dev’s have changed this game to the point where it feels like the time that Voldemort took over Hogwarts. Haha. My guild ranked in the top 100 with many seasoned players who, like myself, have played consistently for a couple of years, and now many of us are looking to bail or have already left because of the constant changes and the consistent trend of squashing F2P. This game is fun and the graphics are great, but if you want to be competitive in this game you have to drop big bucks. I used to do what I think is the minimum which is $30 a month VIP with the occasional gem pack deal at $7 for two weeks and that is not enough to be competitive. But it was enough to be helpful for some events if you hoarded gems and spent at the right time. How much would you like to spend a week on a game? A couple 100 bucks or more? The cards you purchase this week do not hold their same value and new cards need to be purchased next week in order to stay competitive. If you’ve unlimited income and don’t mind dropping the cash to play, then play this game. It’s fun and your guild mates will probably be cool people. If you don’t mind barely being able to kill bosses because you’ve not spent any cash you could also play this game (me). However, when you start buying little things here and there because it’s fun and you want to do better you should ask yourself if this game is worth all the oodles of cash you’re spending on it a month. My guess is that it’s not. My advice is invest elsewhere. Don’t get sucked in by good graphics and fun gem matching because you’re just going to spend the rest of your playing time complaining about greedy dev’s.

Waste of money

Jessnboys

This used to be a great game. After over a year of daily playing, in finished my VIP & deleting the app. To be successful you HAVE to spend more than just VIP. Hopefully the developers back up a month & discard the changes.

Greed and dirty tricks

Medea296

Latest dirty trick. Let’s have a red tag sale! Some of you get 20% off, some 30% and others 40%. The trade off is that We will take away the the tier 3 event hero you normally get and push it back to tier 6. Meaning...you spend more gems(money)to get junk. I blew 5000 gems to get old, worthless heroes and no event hero. It’s pay to play, folks. It used to be fun, but I just cannot justify paying $100/wk for a chance at being somewhat competitive during events.

Change was not good

Played for more than 1000 days... was great. Then people got greedy. No more. I’m done.
