Bought it because it claimed to block widgets (Facebook, Twitter, etc) but it had NO EFFECT. I requested support and received NO RESPONSE. Rip-off!

It used to work great. Now it doesn’t block anything anymore on my iPhone X.
ios 5 was the best
so here is my one star, because I don't have the option to give zero.

I already paid for the premium version of the app, now it’s not being supported. Don’t trust these fools with your money.

This is the most expensive iOS ad blocker I know of, and it performed reasonably well for the first few months. I didn't mind a high (relative to the competition) one time payment because it started as a quality product. However, starting around April 2018 I started seeing more and more pop ups and content that should have been blocked. The reason, I discovered, was because the developer stopped supporting it, so they could sell a new version. The new version also promises a one time fee. That may be technically true, but it's useless to have an ad blocker that isn't being supported. Ultimately instead of paying a high one time fee for a quality product you are paying a premium for a decent product until they decide to stop supporting it and sell a new app. It would be easier to just sell a subscription instead of this shell game of stopping support to sell a new app. Aside from the lack of support, it does cause a few errors. For example many YouTube links will become unclickable until the page is reloaded, and the app occasionally changes its settings to enable all rules, instead of leaving the rules I turn off.

The utility of the app degraded over time - I suspect the developer was not updating block lists. And he expects us to re-purchase the same app under a different name? No thanks. I’m happy to pay for software, and happy to pay for upgrades, but I don’t appreciate a bait-and-switch, which is what happened here.
Brainpop awesome
This app is abandoned for another that offers the same function but you have to pay again

I was having that pop up saying I had won a free prize/iPhone on different occasions to frequently. After looking for something to stop it, I found this app and haven’t had that pop up since. Thanks for the app!

Update: the banner is still there. This developer does *NOT* care about their users, and will continue to abuse their attention and money. Do not buy this app!! This app shows ads for the developer's other apps, which is hypocritical and scummy. It shows a permanent popover that cannot be dismissed unless the user taps "Open" which launches Safari and takes the user to a Medium post. Shady, scummy BS! I wish I could give negative stars. Apple shouldn't allow this behavior.
