I like this app BUT

I really enjoy using this app but I got a new phone and it wouldn’t restore my purchase. I emailed the company and no answer. I had to buy it again and that’s annoying.

This app was great to begin with, but now I can’t use it without it crashing. I’m about halfway through the N3 kanji, and the app crashes consistently during the “Review Past Due” module. It crashes elsewhere as well but less frequently. Please fix! This app is great otherwise.

Good app but very buggy

I’ve been using this app for a while. I like the design of it, but it is very buggy and I don’t know if the author is maintaining it. Unfortunately with newer versions of iOS the app often freezes up and has to be closed. I’m looking for a different app.

The recent update causes the app to not even load please help fix it before the update I could at least use the app but now it loads a all dark blue background with nothing else show not icons or lessons are appearing. Other then the recent issue I’m having I love this app it is great & I seriously recommend trying it if you’re having trouble learning kanji. Not only does this app teach you kanji but also useful grammar & it has a built in review reminder to let you know when you should go back to study previously learned lessons ??

This app is an awesome study companion. After having some minor issues with the app the customer support replied to my query within an hour and had a fix on the way in the same day. Amazing 100/100. Would buy again

I hate “free with in app purchases”

I really hate when apps try to seem like it is a free app, only to require a payment for almost all of its content. Just make the App 9.99 rather than make me pay for each level or access any content passed the first level.

Is someone able to answer whether this app also teaches the user how to write kanji in the correct stroke order? The sister app “Learn Japanese!” demonstrates how to write hiragana and I’m curious if this app does the same for Kanji. Thanks!

Best kanji learning app

This app is fun, well-deserved, and very responsive. You can actually make progress and feel proud of what you are doing because there are no fussy tutorial and things move right along. The UI is clean, modern, and appealing. There are all levels of kanji, from beginner to advanced, helping you to prepare for kanji exams. This is a much more accessible way to learn kanji than staring at a book. Well worth the $10 IAP to unlock all levels.

I purchased the first set for JLPT 5 and have been pretty happy. The only glitch is periodically the multiple choice answers have a blank one (which is alway where the correct answer would be as the other answers are incorrect). If I select the blank one it is correct and the lesson moves on. It would be nice if that could be corrected.
