Used to work for iPhone 6 but after upgrading to iPhone 8 the notifications no longer works. Notifications was the most important feature of the app and it no longer works.

I have tried to connect both appliances several times, but I always get to the same spot “Trying to find your appliance in the cloud.” Then it stops and tells me to call GE. Which I did.several times as well. I have gotten no good answers. The best response has been an email asking me if I am inputting the correct password o for my WiFi.? This seems like a good app, but not baked fully. Connectivity is a HUGE problem!

App was great until I upgraded to the iPhone 8. On the iPhone 6, I got all notifications. Now, I get none. Also, it would be helpful to see which cycle the washer is on, not just the amount of time left. Update: notifications worked this morning after not working for several days. Another update (July 1): Have has to uninstall and reinstall washer twice. Looks like I have to do it again as it is not getting notifications. Dryer seems to stay connected no problem.

Can’t login to the app. Have reset password and still tells me invalid credentials. App is pretty useless

Just got my new washer 3 days ago - once set up, the washer always displayed the connection but the app would lose track of the washer entirely. Not willing to give up, I went through the process of deleting the washer from the app and then added it again but it wouldnt see the washer for even one cycle. I even deleted the app and reloaded it multiple times. Seriously... I went through the process at least a dozen times. Not sure what planets aligned this afternoon, but it finally worked and requested an update (it warned that it might take 30 minutes or so and that the washer would be unusable during that time - mine went a little over the 30 minutes and at first I worried that it wouldnt complete and my NEW WASHER would be rendered useless!). JUST BE PATIENT AND WAIT... my washer and my app are now functioning and all is well - just dont give up or interrupt the update (I have no idea what might happen, but I would rather not be the person who finds out)! So... I just want to report that the app DOES WORK - if you have trouble you can always call GE Tech Support (I didnt, but maybe if I had this wouldnt have been such a process)! Update... well, I guess my optimism ran away with me - as of today we are back to the app not recognizing the washer, but the washer is still connected to WiFi. Not sure what to try next, but not willing to give up (yet). How discouraging ☹️ will update with positive developments as warranted (too many negative reviews here already so will try not to add to that). Not willing to give up but maybe the app needs a little tweeking.

I hate leaving my clothes in the dryer when they are done. Love the alarm I get so I don’t have to keep checking.

So mad! Every time there's an update, it erases all connected appliances from the app and then have to connect appliances ALL OVER AGAIN WHICH TAKES FOREVER!!!

The app has the potential to be useful, but the notifications do not work and the support line is completely useless. I knew more about the app than they did.
