App is good and I enjoy using it. The only issue is that in the past couple months I have reported so many spam bots and they all say the same thing. Hopefully the developers can get a handle on this.

Kik used to be really great, have groups where people were actually active on.. now if you join a group, it’s 90% likely that nobody will ever even type back, leaving no choice but to leave the group. The ads have gotten out of hand, they pop up anytime you click on a message or on a group and sometimes have to wait a whole minute before an ‘X’ is even offered to close it. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I RECEIVED SO MANY SPAM MESSAGES!!! The only thing I’ve been able to do is just report/block them but THEY KEEP COMING. Now I could understand why they would message me, if I were in multiple groups or watching the live videos all the time or whatever, but I DONT DO THAT. I’m in ONE group.. I don’t ever click on the videos. I’m not sure where all of these spam bots are coming from, but it’s extremely annoying. I get about 13/day.

Where did it go? It’s not even a weeks worth of a chat and I’ve lost a lot of info!!! This app is so glitchy it pisses me off!

This ap used to be good. Now there are soo many scam accounts on it it’s crazy! One even tried to scam me out of money!!!I tried to deactivate my account but they make it very hard to do so. I never got a deactivation email even though I did it twice! So I emailed Kik on their support line still no replies. That was 3 weeks ago! Terrible! Would love to get a reply here so I can deactivate my account!
Bots, and inappropriate groups

Kik used to have lots of groups that was 13+ because the app was 13+ now every group you try to go to is at least twenty something plus. And every group yoy go into there’s bots in every group we going to there’s bots bots bots.. and every week you would update the groups kik is not what it used to be anymore plz fix this

I loved this app a few years ago, but now it’s horrible. Messages rarely send, it takes forever to connect, and the worse part is I don’t have the ‘Meet New People’ feature anymore. Ever since ads started appearing it’s been going downhill. Make kik what it once was or else you’ll lose a lot of faithful users.
