I’ve used Kik for a while now. When I first started using it I had no issues. When there was talk about Kik going away the ads started which were annoying but tolerable. Now they have Live and I am constantly bombarded with scammers and bots. Totally inappropriate and I have to report and block daily. Regulate and monitor your app!!!

Would be a nice app if they got rid of the spam bots. Would be a great app if they got rid of that horrible live feature. I get about 15 spam bots a day asking to have sex with me. Delete this app. The coders are a bunch of morons.

I’ve had KIK for over 8 years and for the most part it’s been great. (I miss the game bots) Unfortunately, they’ve recently introduced disgusting, suggestive and sometimes semi-pornographic ads that not only take up the full screen upon opening and linger before you are able to dismiss them, but there’s also a bar of ads at the top and bottom of mostly boob and butt shots that are not dismissible. I’m just not so desperate as to find the need to buy sex from the internet and don’t want other people’s desperation thrown in my face. There is no option to pay for a no ad experience. Ugh! Update: KIK is now riddled with spam bots. I get multiple sexually oriented spam bot messages daily. I’ve repeatedly reported it and it is just getting worse- KIK does nothing. App is becoming unusable.
I’m embarrassed over this app anymore. Too many ads and inappropriate sexual bots.

1 star is 1 too many. It’s more of a pain to maintain. I spend more time uninstalling and reinstalling than I do texting. And the sexual spams, totally out of control.
display name emojis showing as question marks

lately for the past couple of days my emojis in my display name on this app has been showing as question marks i’ve tried everything hoping this issue will be solved i’ve reinstalled & uninstall the app that didn’t work i’ve restart my phone that didn’t work i’ve take the question marks off putting the emojis in & it turns back into question marks that didn’t help nothing i’ve tried has work & i feel this app needs a new update to fix this problem .

I’m trying to log into my account that I haven’t been on in maybe a year or 2 so I can reconnect with old friends. I’ve used the “forgot password” thing to change it, and once I did it said my password was successfully changed, but when I go to log in with said password, it tells me that the password I entered was incorrect. So I tried to click on the little link on the page that said my password was changed and the website won’t load, so I can’t get any help.
