This app just stops working every second if you have an iphone later than 10. It always says connecting and never sends the messages. Its not my wifi or data because everything else ai use is running at top speed. This app is literally trash now. Bots are on here constantly, no way to talk to people if you are on iphone, and the ads are out of control. Honestly discord and skype are 100000 better!

Live stuff ruined this app

I used to love kik. Made tons of friends here but slowly it gets worse and worse. It rarely works well, and don’t even get me started on the live crap. It’s totally stupid and once I accidentally opened one up that was nothing but sex noises. Only reason I keep this app is that I still have friends here and there’s no decent alternative. I don’t mind the ads but I wish the live feeds had never happened.

even one star is too many. this app used to be good but the new updates made it not work completely. never loads & it’s super glitchy, it had nothing to do with my device or wifi either. this app is simply very bad. insufferable to use.

I’ve been using kik for a good two or three years and now it’s just gone down hill. Sometimes when I’m typing, the app will suddenly freeze and then unfreeze after nearly a minute or it’ll just freeze and I have to leave the app to come back. But when happens, so does another problem; at times when I come back, it won’t even take me to my messages so I’ll have to leave and come back a few more times before I’m finally taken to my messages. The ads I understand, they’re to keep the app free, but constantly seeing ones for other dating apps? I dunno if those are the types of ads chosen to appear on this app, but I hate seeing them. I’ll even get random chats from strangers on here; scams or not, they’re all woman asking me if I’m interested in this or that. When I first got kik, I got it to rp/write fandoms and talk to people, not hook up. None of that even existed at the time, and I preferred it that way. This app needs its bugs fixed. I hate constantly seeing ‘Connecting’ atop my messages as well. I’ll come and go out of the app, turn my wifi on and off, use cellular data… I even deleted the app and re-downloaded it, but the problem still doesn’t seem to have gone away. All it did was delete all my messages with people. Please fix the app or try to do something :(

Please make real improvements.

For about a year I think all the updates have been are “Kik is here to stay and bug fixes” plus a live option that will get bots sent to you for just opening a live on accident. For the love of god make real improvements, I’m tired of reinstalling every 6 months because something isn’t working. I know it’s not my internet, I’ve had it tested. Make a real update. Get more server space. I don’t know. Fix your app you bought.

Messages get stuck on S. Pms don’t work. The app lags and is slow. For all intents and purposes it’s dead and unusable in its current form.
