Horrid ads – Kik Messaging & Chat App Review

I’ve had KIK for over 8 years and for the most part it’s been great. (I miss the game bots) Unfortunately, they’ve recently introduced disgusting, suggestive and sometimes semi-pornographic ads that not only take up the full screen upon opening and linger before you are able to dismiss them, but there’s also a bar of ads at the top and bottom of mostly boob and butt shots that are not dismissible. I’m just not so desperate as to find the need to buy sex from the internet and don’t want other people’s desperation thrown in my face. There is no option to pay for a no ad experience. Ugh! Update: KIK is now riddled with spam bots. I get multiple sexually oriented spam bot messages daily. I’ve repeatedly reported it and it is just getting worse- KIK does nothing. App is becoming unusable.
