Kik has gone way downhill

Constantly barraged with ads, spam bots pretending to offer sex, and often locks up. Looking for a new and better app.

This app was so great for so long. Now all I get are random spam bots we try canned responses. No idea what they want but super annoying to have to deal with them all day long. Same script every single time !! I’m deleting the app Worthless and annoying now

Live feature ruined it

I’ve used this app for years (maybe 6?) and it’s been fabulous. First they took away the video messaging element. Fine, I can understand that supporting that as a free app isn’t sustainable. But, this stupid new live feature is HORRIBLE. I get so much spam and messages about dirty things that are unwanted and unsolicited now too. I’m about ready to give up on Kik altogether. Very disappointing.

There should be an option on the live streams. I keep accidentally clicking on one instead of my chat and then the ads pop up! Like bruh, bring back the old days!

I am starting to hate this app. It will not let you send links to another person to where the other person can click on the link to open it. It constantly freezes up and messages are always taking forever to get to the other person. Right now I have 2 messages that have been stuck in “S” for 7 hours….and counting. I am switching to something else that is more reliable in getting my messages sent.
