Live feed ruined it!

Only reason I used this app is because husband has Android and I have an iPhone. Sometimes texts or pictures don’t go through using regular text, so we use kik when needed. We can’t stand the live feed at the top! Half the time it lags when loading so when you click on a chat at the top, next thing you know a live feed opens! Now you have to get back out of it and try again. If you insist on having this feature, at least make it so you can take it off or hide it. So annoying! Not to mention the spam bots are constantly popping up.

I’m a relatively new Kik user on an IPad Pro. The app crashes constantly and I have to delete the app and reinstall in order to get back in. I wouldn’t be using it but I have several friends that use it. When I try to log back in after not using it for a day or so, it continually says my login credentials are incorrect. I delete the app, reinstall, and log in with the same credentials, and it works. Then there is Zoosk! The ad pops up and I’m unable to close it. There is no way to close the app either, just freezes up. Again, have to delete the app, reinstall, and log back in. Having previously worked for a software company, this crap is the result of trying to roll out app upgrades without doing enough, if any, end user testing. Typically this means the company is in trouble and trying to stay in the market after not updating their platform for many years. This is a piece of junk, sorry.

Just about every day even occasionally every hour or so i end up getting random bots sending fake nudes and links that are clearly malware and theres been times it was a kids profile or just some random dude please have like a better security system against these bots and you could potentially get more users bc these bots tend to get pretty annoying along with the ads bombarding us the moment we open this app ive been a member for over a decade and i still am but please fix the issues with the bots and try to turn down the ads so they dont bombard us every time we open the app or a chat

I am using the review area as a report system! THIS IS APP IS BAD FOR ANYONE!! The advertisements that are shown are very sexual, rude, and negative! If children are on this app, GET THEM OFF!! I will not let my child use this app, nor see the messed up advertisements that the kik app creator is letting be shown! STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP!! If I could give a 0 star, kik you won that reward!
No one left but bots, thots, scammers and hookers

My friends and I would use this app to coordinate games and just have group conversations across multiple time zones. Now, the only active “things” are auto spam bots, trying to get people to join their video feed, only fans, voyeur shows etc. certainly not an app safe for kids, or just people who only want to talk with real life friends.

Hey kik you've got lots or bugs here, just recently people who have emojis in their name have had the emojis become question marks, this sometimes removes peoples profile pic and background pic making people not recognize them, so in conclusion FIX YOUR FREAKING APP
