Love, love, love this app. It's easy and fun to use. I love that it asks you questions about your personality to better understand your spending and where/how to cut back and save. The daily save option is fun and the coaching is helpful and not overwhelming. My goals feel attainable! I've recommended it to many friends and will continue to do so!

Great concept, fun, but limited

I really like the concept behind this app and it's fun to use. The design and functionality is great - modern and playful. The only downside is that it has limited tools. I use other financial apps because you can see your spending all in one place and you can organize your spending by categories so you can see where you are spending and adjust if needed. If this app had these tools it would definitely be my new favorite app and would have no need for the other ones I use.

It’s great!! The beginning was so thought-provoking and I loved that there was an analysis on the type of spender you are, within the app. How clever!! I enjoy rating my spends, which I’m surprised about but the Joy App makes it fun and really makes me think. THANK YOU for a great app to get me thinking about where my money is going and why.

So far I am loving Joy. The past year I have been trying to find an app that can help me manage my money (I didn’t like the ones I had) When I saw the app for Joy, I thought why not try it out. It is so simple to set up an account and get a coach!! Now I just need to learn how to rate my purchases. Now I am just wondering if there would be a way to update the monthly house payment & annual income (my hours at work do fluctuate by week so I did the most hours I get) & is there a way to change any of your answers for personality?

I want to love this app...

Update: thank you for your quick response. This app is exactly what I need to help motivate me to save and keep making the right purchases. The personalized approach is probably the best part about the app. — I really want to love this app. It sounds like a dream and it has great potential but my savings just aren’t adding up. For example, I had $8.26 in my savings yesterday. I saved $1.02 yesterday and $0.98 today and I now have $8.21 in my account today. I can’t figure out where that money is going. The only thing pending is the $0.98 and when I add up everything I should have $11.24 total in my savings. If there is a cost for having the savings account, it should be clear... especially since this app is advertised as free.

Other than getting me to open an account, not sure why I’d care that 50% of my peers are happy about their Starbucks purchases. This is a beautifully designed app, I’ll give them that. But can’t see how this is useful for anyone as the insights are incredibly lacking.

So far ok...one question, is the saving option not working? I’ve selected it and it will not open. Also my profile won’t open. The main reason for me downloading was to save. Slightly disappointing.... Update: Thanks to Dan and the developers for fixing the issues. Loving this app. ?
