UPDATE: I regret participating. This app feels nothing but scammy and they have all of my information and access to my bank account. I am still waiting to withdraw my money and I hope once I delete they will no longer have any of my information. The app didn’t work the day after I initially used it except the ‘Save’ feature and now I can’t withdraw or use the app the way it describes we are supposed to be able to use it. It takes THIRTY DAYS to deactivate my account. Run from Joy! (Initial review >>) I have questions/concerns about Joy and was directed to an email address that is an undeliverable address? Who do I contact about my account/money/how to use Joy? I will obviously adjust my rating/feedback once I can reach someone!

I have a regular savings account and figured this could be my “rainy day” fund. The concept is fine, but there’s something sort of petty that’s been bothering me. When it tells me my savings “streak” it says “Your on your longest streak!” when it should be “You’re on your longest streak!”. You’re probably rolling your eyes, but when I see spelling or grammatical errors, it kinda makes me second guess linking my checking account.

I have been using this app for about three months now and out of the blue it started to act up. I don’t know why but I’m kind of concerned. It has to do with logging into the system. There is also no notice of it being updated so maybe there is a bug? Please fix this immediately! Thank You.

This is definitely the kind of app where you should worry about your data. They ask for SO much data-phone number, birthdate, bank account info. There's no option to manually enter bank balances. Plus they don't let you auto-disconnect from your bank??!! Danger!!!

Beautiful and Fun, Just Not Helpful

This app is beautifully designed, easy to use, and I appreciate the intriguing concept. It just didn’t work for me. Maybe if it added built in daily reminders, financial tips, etc, I would have found it more useful but I already know which purchases make me happy and which don’t without using the app, so using the app didn’t motivate me anymore than I already was to save. Again, I loved the look of the app, I just wish there were some additional features to make it a stand-alone finance app.
