Japanese phone number required

Straightforwardlady

I could use the app but it required Japanese phone number and didn't accept my US phone number. The quality and service were better than Uber I think. I'm a heavy Uber user in California but not in Tokyo since there are no Uber car around my area.

You need a japanese phone number

Don't download it if you don't have a japanese phone. I was really hoping this would work for me. Hello Uber

Perfect

Chicknjapan

Quick and easy. I reserved my taxi the night before and it was waiting for me when I went downstairs. I would definitely use again.

Very clunky to order

OSUFanInJapan

Only 3 seconds to cancel order which is way to short. The taxis are slow to arrive and no way to really give detailed pick up spots and the taxi drivers waste time driving in circles looking to find the signed and Posted taxi stand.

Better than Uber!

Greenmc

The app is easy and smooth. Excellent for sending the destination to the Taxi driver's GPS. Automatic payment via Apple Pay or card. And the drivers are professional and courteous. Worth it.

Got us out of a jam

Saw the app in Google when looking for how to get from a remote park back to the train station. The interface took a few tries to sort out, it could use improvements in usability. The requirement to input my name in katakana was a bit of a challenge. I used an online tool to convert from roman characters to katakana then pasted it in. Overall good app for getting a taxi in places where they are hard to find.

Easy and fast!

beefandrice

Been using the app for about a week now and it works great. Much easier than Suica in my opinion. I only wish it was available on all taxi's.

Very handy app

After a little trouble setting it up, it worked very well for getting a cab and made payment very easy.

Marginal

noone1327

The good - it will get you a taxi The not so good: - Poor addressing - the only reasonable way to select destination is to drag the map and point - Taxi companies charge extra for the use of this app - so not cost effective - Be extra careful with use of coupons. I used Google supplied coupon for the first ride, but at completion it was not applied (app bug?) Contacted CS, who in the traditional Japanese manner replied that "You did not apply a coupo, so discount not possible". If you use a coupon - perhaps take a screenshot as a proof.

Great App

Dryhiker

Very handy. Got us a cab on a rainy day where no cab was available by phone.
