Used to love. Now app never works

Camera portion of app always has issues loading. Or the layout of the app will be all wonky. Used to love this whole system. Great when it works. But has not been working well for months. Even contacted support with no help. I can tell it’s not our wifi. they don’t update their app enough.
System issues, lack of support: look elsewhere

We’ve had ismart for 4 years, and initially it was exactly what we were looking for in a security system. However, we had several issues with parts of the system over the years (poor audio quality on cameras, slow load times on the app, network errors when loading the app, inability to arm/disarm from the app) and finally about 5-6 weeks ago, we stopped being able to view our cameras unless we were on our home wifi, which is basically useless. Customer service never answers the phone, so tickets have to be sent via email. Responses take days, and the troubleshooting we were advised to do caused one of the cameras to be disconnected from the system and we could not reconnect. After waiting weeks with no response or resolution, we have chosen to purchase a system from another company. Ismart just doesnt seem to have the ability to keep its product working.

I have been using the hardware and app for several years. It does what I want. Home monitoring without monthly fees. I am willing to do simple maintenance and troubleshooting myself. The door and window sensors are limited by distance to the base unit but in my house they work well. I positioned the base unit between my three door and 1 motion sensor to get them to work reliably. I added cameras and remote siren later which work as expected. When I purchased this unit there were very few self monitoring systems available. Now everyone sells home systems. As long as iSmart keeps working reliably I am keeping it. Fingers crossed.

Unreliable system with constant issues and unresponsive customer support. However, they do manage to find the time to bombard you daily with sales emails. Save your frustration and money by using a different system.

Used to be great. In the past months the cameras can no longer be accessed through the app. The recordings sometime work, but not reliably. Will be forced to look for a different company’s cameras if this isn’t fixed soon. Do not waste money on this product until it is fixed.
Is this app even supported anymore?

The live video view and camera settings hasn’t worked on my iPhone 7 for over a year and even on my new iPhone 11 it’s not working.
Unusable on anything other than iPhone X

Whatever you did to fix bugs for iPhone X made your app completely unusable for the rest of us. Please hire a competent iOS programmer and in the meantime we’ll all be looking for alternative security systems.

The cameras do not stay connected and now cannot they will not connect using ANDROID OR IOS phones. Waste of money.

Camera’s are basically useless, since this company is so slow to update. When Apple updates their IOS they are a year behind at most.
The cameras keep crashing

I order two sets of security systems and both cameras keep crashing over and a over. Contacted customer service and they didn’t resolve it.
