So instagram has been a good app to have as a memory book of what I do and to see what I did in the past. This is to post things to the public of what you were doing that is so interesting that other people would love about you.

I hardly see posts from friends, it’s all companies and ads. No matter how many times I try to refresh my feed only the posts that have thousands of likes come through. I dont keep instagram to see ads, I keep instagram to stay in contact and share with family and friends. It’s going to backfire on companies because in order to see friends posts I’m going through the larger companies/profiles that seem to frequent my feed and unfollowing, in order to see my friends and families posts.

I still enjoy IG but (as a content creator and business owner) I share in the frustration for the direction this app went in. It's still a fun app, I like a lot of the improvements they've made. The advertisements are CEASELESS.

I am seeing “followed by” on my profile pages on my instagrams. Also, I cannot see direct messages being sent to me by friends, I can see it in the notification bar but it doesn’t show what they say in the app itself.
