Game won’t even open anymore since they forced players to use prime. Instant crash on opening, have tried hundreds of times.... iPhone XS Max

UNBAN SinisterFlootsy or the 1 Star stays. The devs of this game lean unfairly for the resistance, and pay more attention to PoGo. Niantic’s GM’s are morons. 1 Star, have a nice day. Also Multi-accounters run wild But the GM’s punish people on comm for speaking the truth.

Many of the “problems” with Prime have been fixed over the past several months. There are numerous improvements to the UI compared to the old scanner. Linking is faster and glyphing is faster on Prime. I think a lot of the whining I see about Prime is a bunch of old school players who are resistant to change. It only took me a week to learn the new UI and within two weeks, the old scanner seemed clunky and slow in comparison.

When I try to sign up, the only options presented are "create an account with Facebook" or "create an account with Google." I don't want to increase my reliance on either of those companies, and I don't want to give Niantic my social media information. Why is there no option to create an account with an email and password?

I’ve been playing this game for 4 years and I’ve had an Awesome time!! I discovered so many new places and met some great people along the way. It’s been my daily app for fun and navigating around looking for new portals. This new app is awful!!! The map and portals are terrible to view. It’s so difficult to see anything and now the Scanner Redacted has now been DELETED! I’m out.. this really stinks because I’ve had so much fun playing this game over 4 years. Now I feel like I just wanted my time. Such a huge disappointment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With this most recent update, every tap now causes device vibrations. It is not only very irritating and an additional, unnecessary battery drain, it’s also very confusing and disorienting because prior to this update there were only vibrations to alert the user that something was happening, like being attacked by an enemy portal. Please change it back or create an option to turn off the superfluous vibrations. Also, there needs to be a way to earn CMU by playing the game (without the need to purchase it) or another way to obtain frackers and beacons.

Prime should be a case study in how to kill a good game. Take a flawed, but much loved game. Release a new UI that is almost unusable, and pretend it is really really awesome! Rerelease the original UI to staunch the bleeding just long enough to “fix” the new one. Then arbitrarily re-kill the original UI because, well, Prime is just so awesome. It really really is. Only took me 30 minutes to log in today, it killed the battery on my phone an hour later, and I still have no idea what the hell I have in my inventory... can’t wait to see how them unimprove it next!!!

Ingress became a way of life for many when it came out back in 2012. The communities and adventures made because of this app are beyond belief. However, there were problems in redacted with the actual game play and with the revamping because of the switch to unity, most agents have been left heartbroken and discouraged. You can’t see a thing, takes forever to do the most basic tasks and eat battery like no other. It wasn’t perfect in redacted but never once did I hear someone say they wanted new animations and longer lag. The inability to play on remote portals for a reasonable about of data usage changes the global game. It’s time to move on

I’m a long time Ingress player who was accustomed to the original now ‘redacted’ scanner. It was simple and straightforward to use. The Prime scanner is anything but easy to use, and a big drain on battery life. No longer a fan.

Still believe that old Ingress client app should be updated and this unfortunate UI experiment should be sunset, not the other way around.
