Would play if it would ever stop trying to teach me things, the game is simple, just let us skip the tutorial crap if we want

I kinda ditched Pokemon go for this game. I love how ominous it all feels. Love the Haptics. I know some people dont like that feature, but the added sensory input adds to the experience for me. I wish there were an easier way to plan out fielding other than using the Intel map on my browser because I have issues with it loading and the two things running really puts a strain on my phone battery. But overall, I am really digging this game.

This app will do more than just let you fiddle on your device, it will get you out into the world to explore and have fun at the same time. You can play and explore at your own pace to capture various landmarks all over the planet and earn badges along the way. It is an experience more than a game. It constantly evolves and grows with community support. A virtual world embedded in the real world with a deeper story to back it all up. You will definitely walk and drive more with this app than any other. But with all communities, be prepared to deal with the spectrum of human influences from the best to the worst. That would be the only cautionary item for Ingress. Overall though, this is probably the best app I have had on any device I have ever owned.

I was originally bored with this app until a friend described it as a “World-wide capture the flag” I play ever day now and I enjoy interacting with other players and taking over portals.

I used to love this game And play 7-8 hours a day. I still love the idea of it. I still adore the people who run it, i just really really hate change. And I miss the simple genius of the prior interface. It didn’t care if it was pretty it cared about getting you to the place, allowed for low data situations, and do the thing efficiently. Yes prime can link faster but takes three times as long to deploy resos. This negates a lot of the energy around building portals when routine commutes can’t lay resos fast enough to be of value in non urban settings. Still hoping for the best and a game that values simplicity over gamey over shiny shennanigans. Tho I’m playing less than I did before, I’m not going to blame ingress for changes in my attitude or life. ❤️

I like the idea of the game and the graphics that go with it. The tutorial decided to terminate while I was learning how to collect particles, so now I have no idea how to actually play the game.

Total rubbish. But what else would you expect from Niantic? All they know how to do is sit and spin.

In a game that relies completely on GPS location, GPS spoofers being allowed to run free and rampant without any recourse against them has completely and utterly ruined any and all appeal this game has built for itself. It is entirely unplayable, and any attempt to play this seriously and fairly will result with extreme disappointment as you’re left helpless against the un-reportable spoofers.
