I just downloaded this app for the first time ever. Went through the sign up process only to find out that my SSN already belongs to an account. Which is baffling because I’ve never ever used this app or service before. So there’s someone out there using my SSN to cash god knows what. ??? Just stick to a real bank folks

I downloaded this app because Chime (my banking app) doesn’t have a mobile check deposit feature and I was told to download InGo for this purpose. Chime is great, but, I’m sorry to say that except for one time, I have never had smooth sailing with InGo. There is always a hiccup or some unknown reason why the check can’t be deposited; and they make you write “VOID” on the check before the process is done so if something goes haywire your check is ruined!! Not great. 8/10 would not recommend. Sorry InGo. PS: Their customer service live-chat is the most ineffective thing I’ve ever come across. 0% response rate to complaints. You’re better off cashing your check at the bank.

Doesn’t work well on iPhone

I have used this app on an Android device in the past with few minor issues. Having recently switching over to an iPhone, I figured the process might be a bit more streamlined - however to my immense disappointment, I can’t even login to the app. I put my login info over and over and it just sits there spinning. Very disappointed.

Super easy to use. Attach the debit card, take a photo of the front and back of the check. Once approved, they have you take a photo of the front of the check with “VOID” written across it. From signing up to funds deposited took 35minutes. Happy with it, at least for this first run.

First of all this App has ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT - recordings ONLY!! I wish there was a ZERO STARS OPTION! 2nd - you cannot send funds to relatives - you can only deposit checks to yourself.... Which any bank app can do already... Waste of time.....period. 3rd This app requires your SSN ?? Why? My own bank app doesn’t require that? Sketchy......add that with no one to actually speak to tells me to delete immediately!!!

I’ve had more trouble with this app than any other financial app. It just circles and “thinks” and I cannot go anywhere. I’m very disappointed. I had hoped to use it for loading my travel card. ?

Any check over $5 will likely get you banned. You can’t get anyone on the phone to discuss your case and the customer service agents in chat hide behind canned responses. The only reason they get one star is that they thankfully didn’t cash the check and hold the funds before banning me. I was thankfully able still to cash my check elsewhere.

Was forced to use this app as the only supported mobile check deposit option for my bank. For the first few times everything went through with no issue. I think they likely have looser standards for new customers so that they can get more business. Then, today all of a sudden they refuse to process the very same type of check that I have had zero issue within the past. Tried three separate times to make sure it wasn’t a check image issue. Each time they just refused it with ZERO EXPLANATION OR ACCOUNTABILITY. Garbage app, and garbage service - especially for this industry, where people often rely on their ability to cash their checks dependably. AVOID THIS APP. THEY ARE INCONSISTENT, UNRELIABLE, AND UNCOMMUNICATIVE.
